Auditing & Assurance Services by Timothy J. Louwers (2006, Hardcover)

What I dislike is that I purchased this book in the middle of August and now on October 7 I have not received either the book or reimbursement of the money used to purchase the item. To say that I am a little irritated would be an understatement.

I got the International version instead of the U.S. version. However, they are exactly the same except that the International book is paperback. The book clearly explains how to do an audit and the different parts to an audit. Also has many side examples to help you understand the text more clearly. A good book to learn how to audit.

I like everything about this product. It was in really great condition. Even though I bought the older version but it didn't change at all, however it saved me a lot of money.
It was required for my Audit class.

This is a great book! I bought it for a class, but I plan on reading the whole thing after the class is done. It has dozens of 'audits gone wrong' case studies, including Enron and WorldCom. The information is unbiased, and many of the cases have an epilogue giving follow-up details. It's a great source for getting just the facts without anyone's opinion.

The book came in a timely manner and the reason for my purchase was that I needed the book for a class.

I decided to buy this book because I need it for my class. First, the seller did not ship the book right away; I placed the order on Dec. 20, 2007 but the book wasn't shipped until Dec. 31, 2007! I still don't have the book!! All I received from the Post Office was a piece of the packaging paper with the return address, my address, and the postage. If the seller used a better way to pack the book perhaps it wouldn't have gotten separated from the wrapping paper during shipping. Yes, it's not 100% the seller's fault that I didn't receive my book but the seller has never responded to me after my two emails and a bad feed back to him/her; that shows that the seller has no concern about the customer after receiving the money. This is what upset me the most.
I've bought 4 books: two shipped in boxes came perfectly, two wrapped in paper - one arrived damaged and this one never arrived. As for dulax31, I would never do business with you ever again because of your lack of care and communication.

This book is just like the U.S. edition and it works great for class. Some international editions aren't compatible, but this one is. I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the delivery of this book to me also

This book was in excellent condition and I would purchase from this member again in the future!!!!!!

It was cheaper than buying in a bookstore. It was delivered to me w/in a week. There are some writings on it but nothing major.

I ordered this book in August, and i haven't received it yet.
I saw bad reviews of this seller after I purchased.
I wannted to file a claim immediately, but i couldn't because i was supposed to wait for two weeks.
It's been almost a month since i filed a claim, but I haven't heard anything from Half.com.

My friend advised me not to buy a book from someone who doesn't have any ratings.
I learned a lesson...

I enjoyed the appropriate disclosures being made as to the paperback quality of said property and any and all other disclaimers. Delivery was made in a timely manner so I was able to engorge myself in the fascinating details therein.

its international edition, but its in color and the quality is really good. same as the us hard edition. excellent buy!!
