Audiovox PVS3393 9 in. Portable DVD Player

PROS: cheap, good widescreen size, adequate picture, usually adequate tracking, two-hour battery life

CONS: Player has only basic controls onboard, so must use remote constantly. Must use player in a quiet room or with headphones/earbuds, as it's otherwise almost inaudible. Wouldn't track a DVD first day received, so almost returned it. Since then, it's worked fine, except for occasional freeze to still while it reads the disk. Flimsy battery attachment and DVD door. Charging battery takes several hours.

This is a no-frills player that does the job, for less than half what you will pay for players with comparable screen sizes. Save your big expenditure for a Blue Ray hi-def player, once your library includes these, and the prices become manageable.

Product was as represented and I am satisfied with the purcase. Even with shipping charges, it came out costing less than ones of comparable screen size offered in stores.

This is a great DVD player. The picture is very clear, the sound is good, the control buttons are easy to operate. Do wish the volume dial was located near the control buttons, or on the remote and not on the side, but an excellent DVD player all around. We bought it because of the size of the screen (9") and the great price.

I purchased a DVD player on April 3, 2008. So far I have not received the merchandise in question. I finally received an email over a week ago stating that it may be sent toward the last part of last week. I am not comfortable with this seller. Today I plan to file a complaint with Pay Pal and get a full refund. I suggest that if this seller plans to do business the right way that he or she learn the art of being courteous to the buyers.

The seller was honest saying that the player was used and have a damegae. But at this time is working so good. Iam happy buying the player from this seller.

THE ITEM WAS IN USED CONDITION DID NOT SAY TAAT,BUT WAS WILLING TO TAKE IT BACK I KEPT BECAUSE IT WORKED GOOD. SHOULD SAID IT WAS USED.
