Audiovox D1020 10 in. Portable DVD Player

We bought this DVD Player to keep our 3-year-old occupied during long trips. So far it works better than expected. It plays everything, is very durable, does not have any sliding trays or flimsy doors to break, and comes with a tuff nylon cover & carrying bag.
The best features of this DVD player is its great LCD screen, wireless head phones, and FM modulator to play audio over the car stereo. We like this player so much that we use it both in the car and in the house.
The only negative thing I can say about the unit is that I wish there were some way to attach it to the back of the passenger's or driver's seat. It does come with straps to attach it between the seats, but in our car it's not practical. Overall I would have to say this is the best small portable DVD player for the car that we have found thus far, given its overall design and performance.

Second Audiovox purchase. Good responsive unit built to standard mass market production quality standards. Plays anything i've put in it so far (DVD+R/-R, Original movies).
Screen is great and speakers aren't bad. Wireless headphones are great. Comes with car power adapter and FM transmitter, so you can listen to movie with car a stereo. Kids love the wireleass headphones (no need for cables all over the place). Wish this had a battery so it could more portable, but not really why you buy this unit . Its really more for the car, or a hotel. Remote is pretty responsive and well built also.

I bought the audiovox dvd player about 8 weeks ago. I keep it in the car for my daughters to watch. It has a great picture and is easy to operate, even from the front seat. We are even able to set it up as a tv set if we go out of town. It is a great product.

I already have one of these, and I wanted to find another on since I have 2 kids. It is a wonderful product! LOVE IT!

I like the size of the screen and that it's not a flip open style.
Controls on both the player and remote are well defined.

I had a different make before but gave it to my girlfriend, so I got another.

Great little tv/dvd player! Quality crystal clear reception, quality sound for small tv/dvd player. Have 2 of these for in home use and highly reccomend. If player stops loading clean dvd good with a dvd cleaner and that should do it! Would buy another. In power outages it works great just hooking it up to a small power inverter with a dvd antennna to keep you informed!
