Power for the money...my take on the AudioBahn A1300HCT

I've been a huge Audiobahn amp fanatic for quite some time. When i first purchased this amp, I was quite skeptical about its power performance, it only cost me about $150, and I thought to myself if this amp would really perform or if it would fail me. When I received the package, it was quite heavy for an amp. I was expecting much packaging but to my dismay, it was just bubble wrapped and it was truly heavy.
First take
I hooked this amp up to two 10" audiobahn sound Q subs. The subs are wired at 1.5 Ohms and is in a max spl box.(People tell me the subs sound better in a sealed enclosure.)My electrical system puts out a stock 12.8-13.2 volts. Now for the big payoff...With my gains and all the other knobs set at less than half, I start my car and put the head unit volume to less than half. Turn off all extra bass boosters except for the "BBE MP" button, and the subwoofer control to -4...yes -4...(unfortunatly, i did not get the bass knob because the seller lost it i suppose) and the subs slammed...They flexed my car so hard i thought my sideview mirrors were going to crack. This amp really delivered. I compared this amp to an old school mtx thunder 801d amp...and the audiobahn outperformed...IT was louder and definitely more cleaner than the mtx...
THE GOOD
GREAT BANG FOR the BUCK at 150$
1 OHM Stable
Durable
lights up blue when powered on
THE BAD
RATTLES ALOT!!!
Heats up at lower impedance after a long period use...at about 1 hour
*note...although it heats up, never died out on me...and amp has been abused from time to time
