Atonement (DVD, 2008, Full Frame)

I found the Atonement to have awesome costumes and scenery. The cast was brilliant - depicting a control freak -

It's an emotional movie, so be prepared.

Unfortunately, after receiving this and giving a positive review, I did not notice until it was going into the DVD Player that the top was sticky in the middle. It is still stuck inside the player and I will probably have to buy a new player!!! Robert

I didn't really care for this movie. The filming was great and the costumes were great but it didn't really grab me. While I would never watch this movie again I'm sure there are people out there who would enjoy this sort of film.

This is a great movie. What a plot! Awsome performances by the cast. I can see why this movie got so much attention. Good response from the seller as well.

I first saw this movie the first day of release. While viewing it, I thought it moved painfully slow! But then all of a sudden it drew me into the entangled plot. I was surprised by the twist near the end, and became a complete fan of the epic. I wanted to own the DVD. I was very disappointed that it lost out to NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.

I have watched this movie over and over. I love the story, sad as it is, and the actors and actresses do an amazing job. I especially like the acting done by James Macavoy. He is going to be one of the best actors in a long line of actors at this rate in his career.

I saw this movie in theaters a few times, and was in love with the characters and time period. I couldn't escape the feelings of betrayal and true pennence for two lovers whose fate would not again bring the together. I bought this movie, because it was a unique love story and tragedy in all.

When you walk into any store to purchase a dvd you are looking at at least 10 - 20 bucks for a movie, so this got me thinking. Why not just look it up on ebay for a better price, and I found it. I loved this movie when I saw it and wanted to add it to my growing collection. Overall buying dvd's on ebay is much cheaper then in the store.

I love this movie and to be able to watch on full screen in my own home is great it is only affordable and possible because of EBAY. it has become a way of life to do all of my purchasing on Ebay. it is a great resource for any or all items. you meet some great people throgh your dealings on Ebay. a happy customer

Wonderful love story. A must buy for any tear-jerker's collection. Bought for a Mother's Day present for my Mom and she loved it.

this has to be keira knightly's finest work. the rest of the cast give excellent performances as well. as far as I'm concerned this was the best picture of 2007.

this is one of those pictures that will stand the test of time, in 20-30 years it will still be entertaining. the acting,directing,special effects,costumes were superb to say the least.

I highly recommend this picture.

Atonement - WOW! Great movie...I can't watch it again..Why? you ask? Go buy it, rent it, borrow it, see it and you will know! I compare it to The Titanic Movie (Dicaprio, Winslet) - tragic love story, I am the kind of person that saw the Titanic ONCE and could not watch it again, I feel the same about this movie - great movie, the chemistry between actors McAvoy and Knightly was spot on, but OMG, I can not watch that again...I am out of Kleenex!!! So, if you are that kind of person that saw the Titanic 257 times, than this is the movie for you, buy it! If you are like me and can not watch the Titanic again, rent Atonement or borrow it from someone and save your $20. Just make sure you have your Kleenex handy...

It is important for a reviewer to recognize that there are times when, as an amateur, the reviewer does not possess the ability to properly comment. And, This is my ATONEMENT. All I will say is that I am looking forward to watching this story again, and probably several more times after that.

I love this movie. The acting's great, the story's great; basically, everything about this movie is great!!!

How old do you have to be know the difference between right and wrong?
Why is it that loves at times isn't enough?
It left me questioning what it means to be human.
Might not be for everyone, but truly is worth giving it a chance.
