The Atonement Child by Francine Rivers (2005, Paperback, Updated)

I read this book on my own and had to buy it! The book is so great, and the quality of the product was phenomenal.

Rivers is a great Christian writer. This book takes a look at abortion from a Christian viewpoint. Great reading for anyone who has had an abortion or is thinking along those lines. Important to know that God will forgive any sin.

I purchased this book because I love this author's novels and so look for something that I may not have read. It was a very moving story, full of healing, love, and many of the issues that people are dealing with today. It gives God's point of view on abortion, He hates the sin, but His love, mercy and grace is available to each one that has gone through this situation. His mercy and grace is new everyday, and when we repent of our sin, God is right there to forgive, heal, restore, and lavish His love on us. He looks beyond today, wanting to restore each soul that has been hurt, and each one that is envolved in any one situation, because we affect someone in every choice we make. It was a very moving story, full of redemption and grace...I was very glad I read it.

This was one of the best books I have read in a long time, very insightful. It would be a good must read book for everyone.

I just love this book by Francine Rivers!! The author tackles some huge issues in this novel, like rape, abortion, hypocritical Christianity, compassion, and through it all a definite choice for the Truth and the Right. And although it is a novel, it COULD be true. It is so real to life.

I purchased The Atonement Child by Francine Rivers. I have read other books by her and really enjoyed this title.

After reading Redeeming Love, also by Francine Rivers, I couldn't wait to read more of this authors' work. The Atonement Child is a beautiful story. It is wonderful reading about the atonement child that God sent to us, as well as a touching story about a family's experience with abortion. A MUST READ.
