The Astronaut's Wife (DVD, 2000)

I bought this movie mainly beacuse Johnny Depp is in it and he is an amazing actor but I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by the subjuct.. it is a creepy kind of movie and I enjoyed it.

Johnny Depp, in one of his first films.. Well done, and worth watching.. Well Made!! Strange to seem him so young looking, looks nothing, like he does now.. You'll enjoy this one, over and over again!!!!!!

This is meant to be a fictional story concerning aero apace NASA and our government and military involvment in exploration of outerspace . Yet I find this scenario surreal since I experinced the impregnation of outer worldly twins My self who's where abouts are unknown. Everthing the wife went through about the pregnancy I experinced the whole coverup and lost. This movie was pretty scarey it made me relive my ordeal.

Johnny Depp with a southern accent! Charlize pushing the limits of her character! Wonderfully written, filmed and directed!

With Depp and Theron and others, this is a great movie. It starts out like a love story, but when the two guys get back from space, it gets you at the edge of you seat.

The main reason I bought the movie was the 2 main actors.
All and all I would recommend this movie. It started out very
good and about 2/3 thru it kinda lost some momentum. Charlize
Theron is absolutely the best.Johnny Depp is also very good.
I'm a little hard to please but this movie kept me well entertained.

Great movie! Keeps your interest the whole time. Very well written! I like that it was not gorey like most the movies involving aliens.

I thought the movie was ok. I liked some of the movie such as how it ended with the 2 children on the bus. I disliked how NASA thought they could cover up the fact that the 2 astronauts came back different. The reason I bought the movie was because it had Johnny Depp in it. Also for those of you who haven't seen the movie I was careful not to tell you every single thing that happened in the movie.

This is a must have for Charlize or Depp fans. I would also recommend it to sci-fi fans. There is an overall dark, somewhat melancholy mood to this movie. It was much better than I expected, so I recommend renting it first...if you like it as much as I did, you should buy it for cheap on ebay. One warning: I watched it with my dad and he liked it...but there is a short sex scene (no nudity), so you may not want to watch it with your parents or kids to avoid awkwardness.

Johnny Depp was great as he always is. Charlize Theron was excellent as well. The story was okay but it left me unsettled.
