Assassin's Creed (Playstation 3)

I only gave this a 4/5 because it is not a quite a 5.. maybe 4 1/2. There is a lot of stuff to do and it is a free-world enviornment. You can pretty much go anywhere and climb anything. Unfortunately, you cant go in any doors (like Oblivion). The main missions of the game have you assassinating 9 key members of society. You must pickpocket, beat, or evesdrop your information from people. Once you have enough information about your target, you can continue with your assassination attempt. Besides the main missions, there are over 400 flags to find and 60 mini-assassination missions troughout the huge map. There are people everywhere and they can help or hinder you. Some push you for no reason and can pick fights. Others are just there to get in your way. Everything you do must be "socially acceptable", or the guards will be on alert about you.

This game does have some random freeze issues on the PS3. It has been aknowledged by Ubisoft and they plan on fixing this problem. This game is alot of fun and can take upto 40 hours of gameplay to complete all missions in the game. The graphics are very good and are fun to watch. This game also has no online mode, so you'll be flying solo this whole game.

Love the gameplay. Objectives are clear to understand. It takes a little while to get used to and you have to spend some time playing to get it all down. I bought it cause it was $20 and thats a pretty good deal for a ps3 game.

i bought Assassin's Creed two weeks ago and was impressed with its interesiting story, great graphics and thrilling actions available in this game. Since i'm not an native english speaker sometimes it is hard for me to understand the dialogues in the game. Overall, i'd recommmend this game to all adventure game lovers.

Nice graphics. No stuttering. Looks like the patches that Sony put in place have worked. The game has a really neat and unique feel to it. More interesting than GTA. Beautiful world. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to play a good PS3 game.

He poisoned me, he sent me a broken disc and the listing was false! There was no instruction booklet, no box and the disc had a slimey substance on it that made me sick as well. I'm contacting the Police, eBay and PayPal about this jerk!

good game but kind of repetitive, great graphics love the way you can run all over the cities not much to do after you win the game .

This is a very interesting game. Playing on history & religion, it takes you a trip through the ancient Middle East. The game plays well and is visually stunning. There is a good bit of violence involved so parents should be cautioned.

This game is great, but it can get old after a while. It's great fun to do the assassinations, but the investigation missions are fairly boring, and some are totally out of place like "Oh, I'll tell you what I know if you gather 28 flags in 3 minutes without being seen!" kind of missions.

The last hour of the game really just craps all over the style the game built up for rest of the game. You spend the entire game avoiding fights and using your cunning, then the last hour is just you against hordes of armed guards over and over.

This one is a rental, you can beat it in 8 to 10 hours without any problems at all.

This was a great, addicting game! Good story line, excellent graphics and the abilities-playability was top-notch. The ending was a little confusing, but with future installments planned it may all make sense in the end. Bonus objectives are a bit weak, and the game is shorter than alot of the episode type games out there, but those are very minor knocks to me. Overall, one of the top 10 or 15 Ive played so far on PS3.

This is a very good game, if you're really into great graphics and scenery in a game. The graphics alone almost make the game worth buying. There are a few negatives that make the game just good to me instead of great. For one, I'm not a big fan of the storyline. I was really looking forward to this being a medieval game and find out it's a "back in time" game with current time story added in. Would've been more authentic to me if they would've just kept it medieval. Also, the gameplay is a little simplistic. You have weapons, you fight, you move on. It is decent to play, and I haven't beaten the game yet, but if what I'm seeing now is all I get, I'll be even more disappointed. I'd like to see you improve your skill set, go through the ranks of assassin before you get some really cool moves. Other than that though, the game is a lot of fun. I like the mini games, like finding all the flags and killing all the templars. Adds an element to the game that allows you to do other things besides missions. Overall, this is a very good game and I can't wait for the sequel.

Assassin's Creed is so unique, the story, the cut scenes, the way it cuts back and forth through the timeline of the character's ancestor's history. The actual gameplay and controls takes a little bit to get used to, but it's easy nonetheless. The switching of camera angles proves to be extremely useful and cool! This game's uniqueness definitely engages the player, and I've only played it a couple times so far. The only downside is that it's kind of slow to develop, but if you like to be reeled in to a game and feel what the character feels, especially in ancient Medieval times, then this game for you! The kill techniques inspire awe and can show much variety. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars!

This is a great adventure game, I love all the missions and extra challanges. Seems like endless missions so you really get your money's worth. Only complaint is there too much story mode, long waits to continue gameplay.

Not what i thought it really was. The story line is nice, the concept is nice (if you're into that sort of thing). The skill level to play this does not have to be that high. It's more a a movie than a game... I don't find it to be like Halo or Socom... in those you actually have to skillfully defeat your opponents... this game has an attack "button" which you just bash over and over until they're dead. But it is pretty nice if you want to "star" in a movie with a decent plot. I just thought it would be more of a starring in a movie and skillful fighting like God of War has you do.

So it's really not bad, it's just not my cup of tea.

It's a very good game. Diferent from most of other games that we know. A fair construted plot that takes to the time of the templars to meet much more fierce secret society. A well treined assassin that uses Parkour to move in the cities. Gaming and graphics are just great.
I'm enjoing it.

My son wanted to try it and he loves it. I like that there is no sex in this game, the rest is acceptible and boy love the action.
