Assassin's Creed (Playstation 3)

I only gave this a 4/5 because it is not a quite a 5.. maybe 4 1/2. There is a lot of stuff to do and it is a free-world enviornment. You can pretty much go anywhere and climb anything. Unfortunately, you cant go in any doors (like Oblivion). The main missions of the game have you assassinating 9 key members of society. You must pickpocket, beat, or evesdrop your information from people. Once you have enough information about your target, you can continue with your assassination attempt. Besides the main missions, there are over 400 flags to find and 60 mini-assassination missions troughout the huge map. There are people everywhere and they can help or hinder you. Some push you for no reason and can pick fights. Others are just there to get in your way. Everything you do must be "socially acceptable", or the guards will be on alert about you.

This game does have some random freeze issues on the PS3. It has been aknowledged by Ubisoft and they plan on fixing this problem. This game is alot of fun and can take upto 40 hours of gameplay to complete all missions in the game. The graphics are very good and are fun to watch. This game also has no online mode, so you'll be flying solo this whole game.

This was a great, addicting game! Good story line, excellent graphics and the abilities-playability was top-notch. The ending was a little confusing, but with future installments planned it may all make sense in the end. Bonus objectives are a bit weak, and the game is shorter than alot of the episode type games out there, but those are very minor knocks to me. Overall, one of the top 10 or 15 Ive played so far on PS3.

This is a very good game, if you're really into great graphics and scenery in a game. The graphics alone almost make the game worth buying. There are a few negatives that make the game just good to me instead of great. For one, I'm not a big fan of the storyline. I was really looking forward to this being a medieval game and find out it's a "back in time" game with current time story added in. Would've been more authentic to me if they would've just kept it medieval. Also, the gameplay is a little simplistic. You have weapons, you fight, you move on. It is decent to play, and I haven't beaten the game yet, but if what I'm seeing now is all I get, I'll be even more disappointed. I'd like to see you improve your skill set, go through the ranks of assassin before you get some really cool moves. Other than that though, the game is a lot of fun. I like the mini games, like finding all the flags and killing all the templars. Adds an element to the game that allows you to do other things besides missions. Overall, this is a very good game and I can't wait for the sequel.

Assassin's Creed is so unique, the story, the cut scenes, the way it cuts back and forth through the timeline of the character's ancestor's history. The actual gameplay and controls takes a little bit to get used to, but it's easy nonetheless. The switching of camera angles proves to be extremely useful and cool! This game's uniqueness definitely engages the player, and I've only played it a couple times so far. The only downside is that it's kind of slow to develop, but if you like to be reeled in to a game and feel what the character feels, especially in ancient Medieval times, then this game for you! The kill techniques inspire awe and can show much variety. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars!

This is a great adventure game, I love all the missions and extra challanges. Seems like endless missions so you really get your money's worth. Only complaint is there too much story mode, long waits to continue gameplay.

Not what i thought it really was. The story line is nice, the concept is nice (if you're into that sort of thing). The skill level to play this does not have to be that high. It's more a a movie than a game... I don't find it to be like Halo or Socom... in those you actually have to skillfully defeat your opponents... this game has an attack "button" which you just bash over and over until they're dead. But it is pretty nice if you want to "star" in a movie with a decent plot. I just thought it would be more of a starring in a movie and skillful fighting like God of War has you do.

So it's really not bad, it's just not my cup of tea.

It's a very good game. Diferent from most of other games that we know. A fair construted plot that takes to the time of the templars to meet much more fierce secret society. A well treined assassin that uses Parkour to move in the cities. Gaming and graphics are just great.

My son wanted to try it and he loves it. I like that there is no sex in this game, the rest is acceptible and boy love the action.

Very nice graphics, although not as good as on my PC, but close. Looks good on my 60" HDTV! It has an intersting storyline. You get to go back in time as one of your ancestors (who is an assassin!) and take out certain "bad guys" in order to re write history. Well worth playing but not much replay value once you've finished.

What a good game here . First the story is really one of a king mixing past and future .Second , It`s a game with a bunch of action in it so don`t worry about being tired you can continue to travel after finishing the mission . Talking of the mission , you can count a good 25 hours to finish all them at 100% . I had really good time to play with altair , one word : Spiderman with style .

A good bang for the buck !!

All my friends told me that this game looked cool and one even owned it. So I bought it only to find that the only cool thing about the game is climbing buildings. The game is very slow, and you can play for hours and accomplish nothing.

I think it is one of the best game of new generation video games! I had it, and I like so much to spent my time to play it! Enjoy it too!

Assassin's Creed combines a myriad of excellent game play features and graphics. The game is in single player mode with a decent AI backing up the enormous maps. There's a great historical touch to it as well and the graphics are stunning (use 1080i/p for full effect). However, the missions have a generic theme that can get tedious. There're plenty of ways to develop skills at accomplishing the missions, be it via stealth assassinations, escapes, or combat. Handy additions would be: a whip, crossbow, and the ability to drop and pickup weapons. An online version of the game or multilayer missions will give the edge on other games.

Assassins Creed is about a skilled Assassin named Altair who lived during the third Crusade in the year 1191. His objective is to slay the nine historical figures who are propagating the Crusades . But he does not know what his Master truly plans .

I give this game a 10 out of 10 for its great game play, smooth graphics and game features. The best feature of the game is that you are able to climb any building throughout the three historically correct cities of Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus. In between the cities you can ride on horseback through different environments and meet new enemies.

Another great thing is the side missions such as saving citizens, pickpocketing people, spying, and finding different items are very fun.

Every thing in this game is interactive such as the crowd filled with beggars who just keep begging you for money. You can push people out of you way, or if your running to fast you might actually trip over one. You can also blend in with priests to get into heavily guarded areas. There are also many different places to hide just in case you need to make a quick escape. You can hide in hay stacks or small huts on top of roofs and blend in with the crowd.

There are infinite things do in this game and infinite ways to do them and that is another reason i give this game a 10 out of 10 .

When this game was first release I watched the ads and had really high hope. Although the game was not exactly what I thought it would be, I do really enjoy playing it. At first the controls were all a bit confusing and different, but now that I'm used to it I can't stop playing. Very nice graphics, great storyline. Overall I will have to recommend this game. Two thumbs up.

Assassin's Creed has a very detailed map that allows you to go practically anywhere. The storyline is very good and game play is amazing. This is a great game.
