The DvD is informative and the good thing is that teaches the basics. If you want to learn how to use the staff in a basic manner the this is a good DvD. This product only teaches how to use the staff not anything fancy..and in my opinion the fancy moves are secondary thats something you can learn in your own. If you want to learn how to defend yourself with the staff this dvd is recomended
