Absolutely their best.

This is the pinnacle of Lamb Of God's albums to date. Their others are good, but this one is absolutely one of the finest metal releases of the 2000's. I would recommend this disc to anyone that loves metal. I myself am not a huge fan of "cookie monster" vocals, but the sheer genius behind the music itself more than makes up for D.Randall Blythes inability to sing. From Laid To Rests brutal beginnings, all the way through to Remorse Is For The Dead, you will be amazed by Chris Adler and his drumming technique. Little brother Willie Adler along with Mark Morton, stun you with riff after riff of smoking hot guitar. Not to leave out John Campbell, and his equally stunning bass lines. Being a bass player myself, I know how hard he works to lay down a bass backbone so rigid. The band is downright amazing. I have even grown a little more accustomed to Randy Blythes vocals. This CD has put Lamb Of God right to the top of my favorite metal bands. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.
