The Art of War by Tzu Sun (1971, Paperback)

The Art of War is one of the most powerful books I've ever owned. It is a very strong, in depth look at mankind not only in the "relationship" of war, but in all relationships. Sun Tzu illustrates well, the need to see one's own faults and shortcomings objectively in order to see who they may be viewed by others and in order to be able to see the faults, shortcomings and strengths of your friends and enemies. I recommend this book to everyone I know who deals with people in any way.

Lots of people could benefit from this book, just read it and pay attention, it could be the way that we are over-taken, without ever firing a shot.

I feel this should be required reading in the public school systems. It may enilghten closed minds, and perhaps open closed eyes. The Art of War is timeless.

I bought this book, and it was really intresting. This book is great for those who want to increase thier ability and knowledge of war.

I bought the book for my class. I have not read my copy yet but we have read and discussed it in class. Based on my class discussions I would say that its a pretty decent book

The Art of War is an excellent book for ANY library. The philosophical concepts transcend politics, religion, life experiences and more. There are so many nuggets of Gold in this book, anyone could apply Sun Tzu's wisdom to something in their life. Do not be turned off by the War in the title. This is the second copy I have purchased. I have one and I ourchased this for my father, and he loves it as well.

I bought this book because in the working field one must know how to maneuver around those who are competing against you. It also gives insight into the
complexity of warfare.

I like the messages within the writings, it takes tought to figure it out. What I dislike about the book is the messages wiithin the writings, it takes thought to figure it it out. This is a re-read and reference buy.
