The Art Quilt by Michael Kile, Penny McMorris (1986, Paperback)

I like the book however, I was disappointed that the authors dedicated the first third of the book to the history of quilts in the 20th century. I was especially interested in the "Art Quilt" and its emergence in the quilting world. Although the book was published in 1986, the 79 color photographs are inspirational and today's quilter will recognize names of published quilt artists.
