like the organization, love the information, dislike the pictures from the late 80s early 90s...reminds me too much of those bad sex ed videos.
but for what it's worth...great text.

I never received the book at all and I was charged for it. I'm trying to retain my money for a book I never received. The sellers lie about sending the book on two different occasions. I offer to meet up with the buyer because we were only 20 minutes in driving distant. I'm a college student that is really trying to finish school and it is getting very expensive. I really need the money back for another book or a full tank of the high gas that will get me before to school. If eBay sent the money to the seller then he or she need to send it back. I cancel the order after two week that I did not receive it into a four week class I email the seller several time and he or she will say that I send it off and never did. So I cancel the order. I had to go my college library to get old copy of the book for my class. SO eBay or the seller I NEED MY MONEY BACK FOR SOMETHING THAT NEVER RECIEVED FROM YOU ARE THE SELLER, WHOM EVER RECIEVED THE MONEY THEY NEED TO CREDIT IT BACK TO MY CREDT CARD ACCOUNT.

Great book for high school and college students. Prepares you how to organize a speech and what are the do's and don'ts. Organized according to parts of speech with a detailed chapter on audio visual aid in speeches. Also provides a practical approach to speech preparation all throughout the book. CD list if topics are OK but you may find more topics more interesting on your own. Couldn't find a better book on speech than this book. A must for all future professionals.

I purchased this textbook with the included disks and booklet for a college speech course. I dislike public speaking very much but it is now a required course in many universities so I pretty much had to.

I actually got a pretty nice professor. The book was very easy to follow and helpful with every aspect of putting a speech together and making it work and be effective.

I am told not much changes based on the editions, but I am sure your professor would let you know. I am debating whether or not to re-sell this text and the supplements because I am pretty sure I will be referencing it for future use in school and professional situations. I highly recommend and enjoy!!!

GREAT BOOK, HOWEVER I READ FEW OTHER PUBLIC SPEAKING BOOK AS WELL AND IT IS SIMILAR. THE BOOK PROVIDE YOU TIPS ON HOW TO WRITE SPEECH OUTLINE, EXTEMPORANOUS SPEECH IS IMPORTANT, AND WAY TO USE VISUALS AIDS, THINGS THAT HELP TO MAKE A GREAT SPEECH. BOOK WAS KIND OF EXPENSIVE, YOU CAN FIND SIMILAR BOOK FOR HALF OF THE PRICE.

I never received the book and got no response from the seller when I wrote to say the book was not received. I have asked my credit card company credit to me for the charge.

Very Informative and useful. I enjoyed the contents found within the pages of this book. I used some of the technics during a speech that I wrote for Fathers Day. The outline section of this book was excellent and very helpful to me. It allowed me to organize my information for my speech.

book was required text for college class, and seller shipped very rapidly. these books turn out to generate much savings, even after shipping.

My book that order from ebay was excellent the condition was great and a good buy. I will be ordering books from ebay through-out my college years.

Very informative and easy to comprehend on a student level. This book is a keeper not just for classroom value, but lifetime value.

This book has excellent tools to help beginners formulate speeches from outline to delivery. It gives examples of what to do and what not to do through the viewing of prerecorded speeches.

I think that I was the only person in the class who bothered to take advantage of the examples on the CD's. Watching the other speeches really helped me to understand what was expected of me for my speeches.

There is also a CD that has a form for your outlines. It was really usefull and prevented me from having to type my own outline form. You just fill in the blanks.

My teacher said that I was the only person in the class who got an A this semester. I give the credit to a very useful book/ CD set!

The CD set is great! Just kick back and listen to the narration as you follow along in the book. The pages breeze by (I covered 9 chapters in one sitting)! The quizzes on CD really help with your retention. The CDs also contain many sample speeches. This was the most interactive text book set that I've ever experienced.

I purchased a book from this vendor several weeks ago. The condition of the book was fair (used textbook aren't usually beautiful). The pricing was excellent and it was delivered quickly!

It's my first time buying something on E-bay and maybe I did something wrong but I did not receive the book even though the money was taken from my account it's been couple of months now

The book is in good conditions. this book was in really good price. I did not liked that it took over a week to get here.

Price was extremely good for the product. And it had a pretty good condition. The packaging it was in was also well kept, because it sat out in the rain for almost a day because of the postal service. Great seller, very effective.
