Art Marketing 101 by Constance Smith (2004, Paperback, Revised)

I have very little to compare this book to. So I will just base this review on how beneficial it was to me. From my point of view (a 58 year old emerging artist)this book is fantastic. It should be titled "Everything you wanted to know about art marketing but had nobody to ask" This books has really been an inspirational road map. After reading it, I realize that I was on a journey in the dark with no road map. It covers all the aspects of being a professional artist. It goes from copywriting to promoting and putting on shows to pricing and accounting and on and on. This is probably a great book for all levels of artist that want to understand how to promote their art.

This is an excellant book for the creative professional. Most creative people work out of their homes are faced with a number of challenges, both anticipated and unexpected. For most new creatives, simply knowing where to begain is the most difficult obstacle of all. This book, Art Marketing 101 lays the footprint for a meaningfull successfull career in Art.

Book was in excellent shape & well packaged. Delivery was prompt. I've added this seller to my favorite sellers list.
