Being my first book of this type, I was pleased and amazed to find so much in such a small book. Cabachon Cutting, Facet Cutting, Special Lapidary Technic, and Useful Lapidary Notes are the titles of the five chapters in this book.
It talks about different machines used for whatever job you would like to perform. It gives a guided tour of variations of levels you can perform on variated gem pieces. Certain pages contain details on the structure, of faceting. It even discusses the fine art of creating cameos. This is a fascinating book. I could see someone who has already worked at this, picking it up and finding out something they had never known before.

I can't wait to study the whole book as it gives very detailed explanations regarding many issues concerning gem cutting, faceting and Cabochoning. Some day I hope to master this trade.
