this method is a very god source of acknowledgment, very simply and musical charts very good exercises of comping and improvisation very very good recommend!!!!

Great book. I've been working out of an old used copy without the CD for a year or so and bought the book to show my support to John Riley and his excellent teaching.
I've been playing for 25 or so years and this book has been great for my Jazz chops! Worth a year or more in private lessons! Very well laid out and easy to follow. The editorial content is worth the price alone.
I very highly recommend the book no matter what your skill level!
