Arrivals & Departures by Silverstein (CD, Jul-2007, Victory Records USA)

Wow, I don't know where to start on Silverstein. I am a hardcore fan of the band, Have three of their albums, and picked this one up because I liked Still Dreaming. Let me tell you, If you are looking for the old sound, You won't find it here. The band has matured into excellent musicians, Their sound is less scream, and more emotion, At least with Arrivals And Departures, But it doesn't mean that they suck as many people think. If you want to enjoy a lighter sound of Silverstein, You will probably like the album. Have a musically open-mind about why a band changes a bit around in their style. It's not like they went from Screamo to Rap! There is a big difference when someone experiences something new and when someone just changes because they want to conform to whoever and whatever.
