Around the World in 80 Days (DVD, 2004, Widescreen)

The adventure, as well as the comedy, is non-stop. It is great to see a movie with a PG rating that can still blow you away. It is also nice to see Jackie Chan in a sidekick role, not that I dislike him or anything.

What do I love? Well, there's Jackie Chan who is charming as always.
Some fun locations, costumes and some funny lines.
The downside is that this is not the same as Jackie CHan movies of the past, whcih means that if you're looking for nonstop fight scenes and insane stunts you might be dissapointed. Granted, there are fight scenes and stunts, but they seem rather muted compared to past glories. Which is to be expected in a family targeted movie, and from the fact that Jackie isn't getting any younger.
The fight scenes are fun for what they are though. The story is decent, the other stars are decent. I just thought this movie fell bit short of what it could've been in the magic and wonder department. Still a fun family movie if you have the stomach for it. If you're looking for deep metaphor and life altering insights, this is not for you...

This is a very good movie. Something that the whole family would probably like to watch. It is funny and entertaining.

I decided to buy the DVD for my son's 15th birthday. The movie is awesome.. The purchasing price was great, shipping and quality of the product was great

This movie has many differences from the book it is based on. I loved the book, but because the movie is so different I found it hard to enjoy the movie. As a movie itself and not judging it against the book it is a decently done movie with some great choreography and other scenes.

Great movie lots of laughs! I highly recommend this movie it will not disappoint you. Jackie Chan movies are always good. If you like Jackie Chan movies you'll for sure love this one.

I purchased this item several weeks ago to show to my nephew. It is one of the books he has to read this year in literature and I thought it would be a great back ground for him prior to reading the book. Plus watching the movie would get him excited about what all he would be reading. My idea worked. He loved not only the movie but the book as well. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This movie is a fun movie for the family. There is lots of stunts and lots of action. Easy to follow. There is not one place where you will need to cover your kids eyes. My kind of movie.

Jackie Chan movies are among my family's favorites because of the action sequences. This movie was not a let down, the action was great. In the Disney tradition this movie was very good for family viewing. The out takes were also included in this version. They are always fun to watch.
