Worth the time to see the original one. Good music and fun to see David Niven
and Countiflas. The rest I am filling up space.

I am an avid jules verne collecter. I buy all his books. I have also seen every movie based off of a jules verne novel, even if they dont take credit for it. Phileas Fogg accepts a wager that he can't travel around the world in eighty days, but it looks like trouble when Fix trails him, believing him to be a suspected gentleman thief.
Note: In some books and cartoons/comics, the main character is incorrectly called Phineas Fogg. The correct name for the main character of this book is Phileas Fogg.

Timeframe of novel: Events take place between October and December 1872

Great old movie, what a cast of characters! Really enjoyed Charles Osgood commentary and all the extras in the new packaging. Widescreen really makes all the scenery pop!

A true classic! I first saw this movie in 1958 or '59. Never forgot it and now at a young 53 years of age I can enjoy it again. Movies like these bring back great memories of my childhood and very secure times in our country.

I loved the scope,scenery, story line and all the famous actors popping up. This film belong in any serious collecters -er- collection. It is a good representative of epic, adventure, sci-fi(?) and oscar winner genres.

I bought this for nostalgic reasons. I remember watching it when I was young and it's fun to pick out all the actors with cameo roles. And, who doesn't like David Niven!

The movie was just as described. Fast, east transaction and received the movie very quickly. Would do business with this seller again.

I was extremely happy with the availablity of the DVD "Around The World in 80 Days" and with the price. I was also pleased with how soon I received the DVD. I wanted to present this to my sister for a special occasion and the original receipt date was past that day. However, it came sooner and I was able to give it to her and it meant a lot to me.

In the 1950's it was the time when Marlene Dietrich needs move her career to the next step. From her first US comeback in 1939 she played now and again in western movies (Destry Rides Again, The Spoilers, Rancho Notorious) and when she decides to use to be in Michael Todd's production she turn herself in this plot again.

That is only one example of all in this movies. Same stories are very close to all cameos and main actors to. This is very gifted one collection with 2 DVDs set, with a lot of extras. More pleasure you can have not with this one.

i watch this movie with my parents years ago, and i want my grandchildren who cantinflas was, since i was born in mexico, also david niven a very good english artist, excellent movie better than jackie chan , no offense to new movies but i prefer classic movies, thanks for all this movies available, as well as pepe also with cantinflas. tks maria

This movie is cute and very child friendly. If you are over 10, you may find the Jackie Chan version a little tiresome. The original is much better-missed the music in the remake! This original is a true classic and a favorite of the whole family!

good piture image and cliarity. no problems with the disk itself. it came on time to my box. there isn't much moore to asay but thanks for the product.
