CHRISTOPHER WALKIN, JOSH LUCAS AND MICHAEL CAINE NEED I SAY ANYMORE! This star studded cast takes you on a road trip of a lifetime. Great grandfather, grandfather, father,and son with a incredible story of life brought together through death. This is not a morbid, horror flick, this is a incredible story of the lives of these individuals. I laughed and I cried. Rated R for laguage, this is a staple in your collection. You will not be disappointed!

"Around the Bend" is a wonderful movie that I had already seen but wanted to own so that I could watch it again and share it with others. The casting is perfection and the film sends the veiwer a rich message about family relationships, forgiveness, redemption and hope.

This is the story of four generations of Lair men: Michael Caine as the patriarch, Christopher Walken as his son, Josh Lucas as his grandson, and young Jonah Bobo as his great-grandson.
It's a funny / tender / sad / poignant tale of cycles / rituals / obligations / family / life / death / KFC. Can the Lairs relationships be salvaged after decades of poor communication and failed expectations?
Fabulous sound track with the talent of Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, Leon Russell, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Harry Nilsson and others.
Favorite line from the film: "Some of us are more broken than others."

This is a touching movie about relationships within the family. Quite good and educational. Perfect example for families having communication issues.

I grew up in New Mexico and it was like a great road trip. This is a feel good movie, great acting and probably could be called a "sleeper." The music is great. I have the soundtrack from the movie and I listen to it over and over. It is great to see a movie where there is not a lot of sex and violence. The movie has been on TV a lot and I have watched it several times. I saw it on TV first and decided I really wanted to own it.

Around the bendA very good human interest movie. The characters were unconventional and off the track as "Normal" would be discribed. I found it enjoyable.
