I had rented the game from Hollywood Video, and I just loved the two player action. I was looking to buying it, and noticed that gamestop was selling it for like 54 dollars. I ended up paying (including shipping) 36 dollars.

I played this with my nephew and it was extremely short, it would have been longer if we watched every little cutscene but we watched most and it still took 4 hours to beat, yeah, not long. Plus I personally didn't like the weapons switching system, reminded me of Saints Row, you have to hold one button then choose and them, weapons themselves were okay as long as you know how to pick the correct combo for more damage. One thing that gave me a mix reaction was the fact that when you're down you can't heal yourself but you can use your gun and kill people, making it vital that your buddy saves you otherwise if you die all the way or your buddy dies then it's straight back to the last check point. Overall if you like to play games with a friend then this game is probably for you.

Army of 2..360 reviewAfter seeing many gameplay reviews online I decided to purchase the game for myself and test it out.
Right from the start i was impressed with the ease of use and learning curve of the game. The graphics were very impressive and well put together.
The story line is also quite interesting. Weapon selection and modification also sets this game apart from many others.
The overall concept of the game is very unique, never before has a game been so good out of the box when 2 people, whether is the AI or a friend are playing out the missions together.
I definately would tell anyone to buy this game. You won't be dissapointed

Army Of Two ReviewI heard of the game from my friend, decided to buy it but it was way to expensive, I went on Ebay and found it for an extemely cheap price. The controls are a little awkward at first but once you get used to it the game is incredible, I recommend to all 360 gamers who do have it already. One of the best games for xbox.

The Game is a poor verison of Gears of warwhat i dislike about the game is that its control's are bad and unyielding. The enemy AI is a half brain who feels that running into enemy fire seems to be the best thing. Little to no planning is what you can call the landscape. With a linear story path and a so so funny dialog which makes you want to poke your eyes out. this game tried to hard to drive in the same street as GOW but took a left turn to bad town and left its car to join a cult. only coming back later and getting totally lost. Don't buy this game .

Army of Two is a great game!I really enjoyed this game. It is a great 3rd person shooter which combines strategy with action galore! The gun upgrade system is great! I'd love see a sequel that includes character customization too. This game reminds me a lot of Gears of War with the cover system and gameplay style. The only drawback to me is the length and AI. It feels a little short, but the replay value is strong. The partner AI could use an upgrade though. The AI partner feels too much like a robot, even though you give him commands, he still seems to do things that make him look like a sitting duck at times. Overall, this is a game that should be included in any shooter fan's library. Even for players outside this genre, they will still enjoy this great game.

I LOVE THIS GAME! this is the best two player shooter I've played in a long time. The expert is actually hard, the game achievements are actually difficult and fun to attain, and the little stuff in the game, like smackin ur buddy in the head, is funny. If there is one thing I dislike about the game, is that on professional mode, u can unlock all the weapons. So don't worry about buying to many, just get the gun you want, and upgrade it and save your money because yeah it will take you a week to beat professional, but you'll have tons of achievments unlocked when you get all the weapons. The masks you can also buy are pretty awesome. AI wise, the AIs in this game are pretty standard, get behind a wall, and shoot. So it forces you to stop being trigger happy, and thinking tactical. Something halo doesn't do because you can't slide behind cover. In comparison to halo, I'd go with halo 1 or 2, but against 3, I'd go with Army of Two.

Well my friend and i decided it might be pretty cool for us to both get army of two because when we played the demo together it made it out to be a pretty strategic game, wrong.... In fact the game play was so repetitive and straight forward it was ridiculous. the only way you can change it up is to get a different weapon when the "mid mission shop" thing comes about. most the time theres a ridiculous amount of enemies coming at you and it takes two years to get anyplace (mind you they are all mostly the same level of difficult) and speaking of difficulty; first we played the game on the lowest. which proved sorta hard. then after we beat that , we played it on hardest...........nothing changed...... it was nearly the same level of difficult as easy was. but i digress, we did seem to get knocked down a little bit quicker.
Ok now for things i liked about the game. Weapons! there are some nice weapons and some nice things you can do to your weapon. its nice because they give you the opportunity to upgrade everything on your gun. including your stock, barrel, appearance, cartridge, and you can put things on it like a grenade launcher and stuff. i liked the game play really , it was just really repetitive. they have a mode called OVERKILL mode, its pretty sweet see once your partner gets all the agro and holds it for a certain amount of time . then over kill mode comes up and makes you pretty much invisible plus it slows down time kinda thing so you can run around and just destroy the nearby enemies in around 12 seconds they give you, very helpfull.
one thing that gets annoying, is the cut screens, there is one every time you have to open a door, which gets annoying, just open the door you dont need a cut screen! and one other thing, in the very end, YOU dont even get to fire the last bullet and the MAIN BOSS!!!!!!!! guess what?!?! its a CUT SCREEN! go figure... that ruined the entire game for us, you cant even kill the boss yourself, its a stupid movie. they lead you on to believe there will be a second one. what are they going to call it. Army of Two 2?
So in conclusion i guess i give it a 3 out of 5 . graphics are very nice. but the game just didn't meet up to my expectations. if you want a nice coop game, get Gears of War. or Halo 3.

Mercenaries Meets Gears of WarI didn't have high expectations considering the average reviews it recieved. As you can see in the review title it is pretty much Mercenaries meets Gears of War. You will notice that the characters move a lot like Gears of War and the concept of the game like Mercenaries with less purchasing options. I have yet try the online features, but I don't think that this game will WOW you. I loved the concept of the game (despite the heat it recieved), but the game play is above average. I wouldn't pay full price for the game. I would give this game a 6.5 out of 10.
