Area 51 (1996) (PlayStation, 1996)

I bought the game to try out an older off-brand light gun I came across. The game and the gun worked well together. The game itself is verbatum to the arcade version we all played back in the day. Gameplay with the old light gun was fine and fun too. You have to play it with the older gun, so don't pick it up if all you have is a GunCon2. I didn't sink a lot of money into the experience, but if the price is right for you it was a positive play experience.

Every bit as fun and exciting at home as it is in the arcade. All the secret levels are in here, the secret game mode is in this version too, everything is the same, and as awesome as ever.

This is a great game to play! I could play this one all day. You can play with the hand gun or controller. One or two players can play on a single screen.Lots of different levels and secrets to find. Kill Aliens and have fun doing it AAA+++

Area 51 is fun to play at the arcade or on your home console; probably one of the best shooter games ever created!

I like the graphics, they're very good for an older game. We decided to buy it because we always used to play the arcade game. And, I like to shoot aliens - I pretend I'm Ripley (from Alien). Also, my husband and kids think I'm really funny, especially when I yell at the game.

This game is an exact copy of the the arcade version as far as the levels and game content are concerned. However, my only disappointment was that you are unable to use a Guncon controller for the total game play experience.

I've liked this game for many years, Finally bought it. The graphics are a bit cheesy looking, and it was hard locating a gun for this game. But I love the shooting action. One thing I don't like about this game is not being able to save it where I die.

I used to own this game, thats why I bought it. The price was right. The shipping (us snail mail) was slow. The game works very well. I have purchased several games off this Ebayer and have been pleased with their condition. Lots of hours killed having fun with this game already.
