Jerry Jenkins and Tim Lahaye's 'Are We Living in the End Times?' is the perfect accompaniment to any reader of the 'Left Behind' books. This non-fiction book explains in detail, the Biblical basis for the Rapture. The book begins with the prophecies that foretell the Rapture and the subsequent Second Coming of Jesus Christ, based on an analysis of current world conditions. The book then thoroughly describes the specific events that are still necessary for the Rapture to take place.

Jenkins and Laheay's non-fiction writing style is just as interesting, well written and free-flowing as their 'Left Behind' series. The authors lead the reader logically through each prophetic scriptural reference, offering compelling evidence for the coming apostacy, tribulation and rebuilding of the Jewish Temple, among other subjects.

I highly recommend this book as an adjunct reference for any 'Left Behind' series reader. 'Are We Living in the End Times?' will give new depth to your understanding of the series as well as re-affirm your beliefs. This book is also easily read by anyone without any knowledge of the fictional 'Left Behind' series, and therefore garners my rating of 5 out of 5.
