Approval Addiction by Joyce Meyer (2005, Abridged, Compact Disc)

Meyers audio book Approval Addiction addresses a common problem seen in so many across a wide demographic today, the need for acceptance and approval from others. As much as Christians may know that we are to live only to please God, it can be difficult to live that out as we should. Meyers book gives practical tips on recognizing and with the Lord's help, overcoming the need to please others. Of course the "easy" answer to this problem and many others is to seek the Lord's face, pray and pray some more and ask Him to help you. But books like Meyer's Approval Addiction may lead many to address a problem that they did not know they had. Overall, this is a good audio book to lead listeners in the right direction.

Being a mother of 3, it is hard to sit and read and nice to listen.
I would have liked it better if Joyce Meyer would have been reading the book.

I bought this cd a few days ago and started lisening to it right away. I quickly discovered that it's a must have! A person should hear it several times over and let it shink in to really appreciate the depth of it. I highly reccomend it.

I was disappointed when I began to listen to my cd. It was being read to me and not by Joyce Meyer. She is a dynamic speaker and I was looking forward to hearing her lesson. Of course upon closer inspection it said that it was narrated. I will be more careful next time.

The reader they chose was rather droll and boaring. Made me even forget it was on in the car. I liked her womens conferance recordings - thoes I would definatly recomend!

The Audio book reader is monotone; however the content is very insightful and applicable. Because it is not Joyce's voice, I found myself drifting, and thinking about my grocery list, or other things. But when I made myself focus it was a lot of really good information that I began to implement right away. It is worth buying, especially if you don't have the time to read the book. Just pop the CD in while driving to run your errands.

I truely forgot why I bought this but when it came to me in the mail I was surprised. The first chance I got I popped it in a cd player and was enthralled. The CD's itself were mint and thought worthy, though my only 'thing' with it, is I wish Joyce spoke it but the lady who did was splendid in her own right.
I would recomend it to anyone and everyone.
