I decide to got this DVD for a gift because I only could find the 1st season of the Apprentice. Gift for a person in a Business major.

I love the Apprentice DVD that I bought on Ebay. I love the show and Donald Trump. I really liked the 1st season and I wish that the Apprentice seasons 2-5 were on DVD also. The show is a learning experience for boththe contestants and the viewer. Its really exciting and interesting. Its a show for the whole family.

One thing The Apprentice series demonstrates is how important marketing is to any business. No matter what kind of business it is. Even for not-for-profit organizations. The Apprentice also demonstrates not only how important leadership is, how many variations of kinds of leadership there are. No one is better than another. It is key for the leader to read his/her employees and find how they like to be led. This DVD series has a lot of little gems of advice and tips on being successful in business and in life.

I am a huge reality TV fan and I had missed some of the first season of The Apprentice. So this was great.

The first season of The Apprentice was my favorite one. My husband never got to see it so purchased it so we could watch it together. He really liked it too, but was a little disappointed in "The Trump". He thought he was a really mean guy overall.

-Like the spontaneity of the participants, and the requirement for quick thinking
-Love the opportunity for each participant to show his/her best, and Trump's stuff!
-Disliked the short attention to the details of why participants made management decisions

I bought the CD at the suggestion of a friend. He thought that it would help me learn negotiating skills ... I think that it did.

From the very beginning of the first show aired, I became a loyal viewer!! The show's concept is very imaginative and intriguing. Watching the show was not only entertainment, but is also very valuable for ANYONE attempting to enter the world of high finance and business as well as becomming your own entrepreneur and running your own small business. Management is nothing magical. It takes a lot of hard work and the know-how of motivating your small team as well as a large corporation.

Donald Trump, his faithful assistants, and the creators of "The Apprentice" should be highly commended for showing us what it takes to be a success, no matter the size of the company or the availability of your resources. You need many skills to become a good manager, and the lessons learned on the show are of tremendous value!! I have hired and fired my share of employees in my many years of management (and business owner/operator) experiences. It is very rewarding to meet that next great worker and it is just as difficult to fire (or layoff) someone,,,no matter what the failing reasons may be.

Studying the characters who are chosen for employment training is very valuable also. Anyone who has never hired or trained an employee can learn so many valuable lessons watching "The Apprentice"!! It is truly a challenge to see who you will select each week to be fired and eventually who will be the one chosen by "The Donald" to work as an apprentice for him on collosal job sites and to earn the greatest job benefits of all time. I can't wait to see the valuable bonuses included with the DVDs too. Watching these programs all over again will be soooo much fun, and valuable just as well (especially if you know someone who can benefit from the many lessons learned on how to be a success, from all the people the shows have on as guests). So much to watch, so much to learn and so much fun it will be to see the first season again. Enjoy!

I wish all seasons were on DVD. I enjoy other shows, but I get really excited about this show.
I don't care for the cat fights and back stabbing. I enjoy the tasks the candidates have to do and how they get them done.
