The Apple iPod touch is the iPhone with out the phone capabilities. The touch-widescreen is incredible! The control is simple and easy to use. The display is bright and light-sensitive, meaning it will automatically adjust to the surrounding light.
The built-in wireless lets you surf the web as if you were on your desktop at home. Since most places and airports offer free wi-fi, you can check email and scores on Safari, and be able to see regular websites, not text only or 'mobi' versions.

PROS: small, thin, widescreen, built-in wi-fi and Safari browser

CONS: if you loved the click-wheel, then I guess not having one would be a con
Initial small storage sizes, which will increase when flash storage technology increases, likely in next year's release.

If anyone loves the new touch screen feature on anything, they'll love this. I love this item, you can watch videos, access the web, and have all kinds of fun games downloaded to them.

I really enjoy my iPod. I am still learning about it. I has so many features. I thought the price on the item was great as it was half of the price it was at the store. I liked it so much I ended up buying to of them.

Someone recently stole my 80GB Ipod, so I needed a new one. The newest Ipod Classic's are 120GB, which is just way too much memory for me. So I decided to go for the ipod Touch because it doesn't have all of that memory, but it has enough. And the screen is amazing! Watching videos on this touch is awesome!

I just got into the MP3 world of music listening on the go. I enjoy the IPOD touch with all its features including Wi-Fi abilities to connect to Safari,
e-mail, google maps, weather....etc. The new 2.1 software update and connection to the ITune store are great. You find all sort of new software and music for your interest.

Great sound, simple interface, enough storage, what's not to like?

On the other hand, calender sync does not work with Windows XP Pro with SP3.

I really like this ipod. Its not just the touch screen or the slim form factor. It is the small things like when i am watching a video on it i can skip ahead with no lag, i imagine this is because of the flash based hard drive and that is a great benefit. I also like knowing that i can jostle it all i want and the disk wont crash because it has no moving parts. Great product.

The product was just as described and the only way I could have received the item faster, was if it was faxed to me. super fast shipping. Like I said if you are in the market for ipod or any other product this seller is selling, a definite must buy!!! I highly recommend, I am an ebayer since 2002.

Apple came out with the touch and we went down to buy it. We had no idea that there was more than one model. I'm a PC user and never got the part about Apple being easier to use. After buying the touch and filling it up with music we realized that it didn't have the volume control on the left side. Had to really did deep to find out that we got the old touch. You have to look at the model number on the back in small print. Why the big mystery? Why not call it Touch I and Touch II or call on Touch and the new one Feel? I thought Apple was suppose to be so simple and straight forward. You even have to go online to get instructions. Had to go back to the store and get a refund and then wait for the new generation Touch to come in. I guess some people would have just accepted the old stock version. Maybe this is what Apple intended.

Bottom line here is don't assume anything before you buy something made by Apple. Once you figure it out you will at least be happy with the product itself....

i love the ipod touch that i bought but sadly it has been stolen from me yesterday. :(( i dont know who or when it got stolen but i'm very sad that it happened. anyways what i liked most about the ipod was that it had internet connection and you could lisen to music while watching a slideshow of pictures. or you could watch movies in either widescreen or fullscreen or just the fact that the movies come out with perfect coloring and the ipod did not have any flaws at all except for maybe some few tiny scratches. :)

I don't know how these guys did it - but the delivery came today in perfect condition. I think this was advertised as 'slight wear' - if there is, I don't see it anywhere - this is essentially a brand new ipod and i'm thrilled with how quickly it got here - with an excellent response from the seller as to tracking etc... way beyond expectation!
the product is pretty cool - gonna need something to protect it though... it's not going to stay in new condition for long without a sleeve of some sort

I have gone threw three MP3 Players this year. The Sandisk Sansa 8GB, The Creative Zen 8GB and now the Ipod Touch 16GB. out of all them i got to give it up to the Ipod product because of the stile and the many features it provides. Don't get me wrong the Sansa was not that bad of an MP3 Player, the same thing can be said for the Creative Zen but next to the wifi,apps, and amazing looks from the ipod touch they cant even compete.

I really like it, it's a great product for all those music lovers out there who want more than just music at their fingertips. I keep tons of pics of my kids on it, too, so I've always got them handy. I also love the video feature, put a few of my kids' TV shows on it, which keeps them occupied and quiet when were waiting in line somewhere or at the drs office. LOVE that I can sync my Outlook calendar to it and have the same calendar on my laptop and in my purse. My only complaint, if you'd call it that, is that it pulls straight WiFi, not that I didn't know that when I bought it, but there aren't a ton of open access networks around where I live/work, etc, so I'm often without a signal which means that now that I've gotten used to email in my hand, I don't have it - DEFINATELY makes me want an iPhone!, if for no other reason that the SIM to pull internet even without WiFi. I saw the new iPod Touch's have speakers, too, which would be nice. All in all a great product, easy to use, etc., just spoils you enough so that you want more.
