Apple iPod shuffle 3rd Generation Silver (4 GB) MP3 Player

I like the sleek design and size. I hate the controls on the earphone. I don't like earphones period. Guess it's the wrong IPOD for me

This iPod is small and easy to manage plus it has plenty of memory for favorite tunes. I wish it had a screen but I'm happy with it as is. I decided to buy it because it was a great deal for a 3rd generation iPod with 4GB memory.

The one glitch...part of the switches are in the cord...volume and the switch that allows voice over...This tells you what song is playing...the voice over is a nice feature, but you have to download the software from the Apple site.

The main problem is that if the cord ever gets damaged...it has to be a special Apple cord with the same switches inside to replace it. You cannot put speakers on it. It has to be the special Apple cord.

The old ipod shuffle has all the switches on the face of the unit...

This one has 4 GB instead of 2 or 1 GB that makes room for a lot of great tunes, that is why I chose this model over the old model. I wish they had a nearly perfect rating...because it is so much better than Good. I can give it an excellent rating but it isn't perfect yet.

I HATE to give this awesome jewell less than an excellent review! 'cause inside its tiny body...I have a TON of albums...I am all about the music not the video crap...I don't want or need a screen...I don't want or need video.

It is almost too tiny it weighs slightly more than two pairs of earbuds...this is great for jogging with...just clip the unit on your t-shirt sleeve...and it is nearly weightless...It has a shiny chrome metal clip...I am always smuging with my fingerprints and wiping it off... only cause it looks cool in chrome...ahhh the minor price we pay...

I like the small size of the device. Yes, there is an adjustment period to get used to the controls. I bought it for riding the bike and working out, so it fits it's purpose perfectly.

I bought the shuffle to be able to use at work. I didn't need something as big as the nano. It works wonderfully.

This thing is great. I can't believe how much info it holds. I got a great price at $66.00. This is the way to go for storing music and info.

I love shuffle ipods they work great for walking and jogging. It was nice to find one for a good deal.

After owning an iPod Nano, the lack of a screen and having the controls in the cable were just too irritating. I gave this unit to my wife and bought another Nano. She loves it for walking and working out, since it is very small and can be clipped on her shirt or shorts. If you start with this unit you will love it, but if you're used to the Nano or better you will probably not like it.

Tiny little iPod, about the size of a lipstick only flat and lighter. Since I bought it for walking and running, 4G's is plenty of room for a lot of music or a book or two to run by. It just clips onto your shirt and weighs so little you don't know it's there. All controls are in the headset, which makes it really convenient. Just click to move through a playlist or to turn volume up or down. This is an ideal first mp3 player.

you have to use only one kind of ear phones with the remote built in and am just wondering how many times you can click it before it wears ouy new ear phones are around 30 bucks sold mine on ebay before it had a chance to break

At first, I thought that I wouldn't be able to use it. The iPod is so tiny, but I have started putting my music on it and I think it will work out just fine. It is small and so I have to be careful that I make sure that it stays connected to me. I like the features on it. With other iPods you always have to look to see what the song is, this one will tell you when it plays, so that is nice.

The new ipod shuffle is simply amazing! All the controls are located on a small controller near the right earbud. Holds about 1000 songs, I have 400 plus songs & podcast & and I have plenty of room to spare! The new voice over feature is pretty cool! It says the title and performer of the song. I also purchased the apple in the ear headphones. This package is like mini hi-fi system! This thing is small it could double as a tie clip!

The shuffle is small and convenient. It holds a lot of songs. I like that you can take it anywhere without any bulk or weight. Great for walks or discreet listening.

The New shuffle is nice because it has more capacity and its very small, that is where my praises stop. You can not use it with auxillary jacks to play music because all the controls are on the headphones. The new voice software does not work so well. You have to use it with apple's proprietary headphones, its the only way it will work. Think twice before buying this product it wont work with any of the many aftermarket products that are made to work with ipods.

I want to buy this product with cheap and I found it and bought...

I like the extra small size, which makes carrying around the MP3 player very easy even though it can carry a large number of itunes. The Voice over feature is also very unique and nice to have. I decided to purchase it so as to complement my Mac computer and make downloading music easier.

I really didn't know how I was going to like the 'Shuffle' because there is no screen to know what songs or what play lists I was in but all that is addressed via audio recognition. In other words, it tells you and you select. And the size...How about the size of a piece of chewing gum!
I'd give the shuffle a 4.5 star out of 5. Why not 5 out of 5 you ask? well, you can't select the play list and you have to scroll through your entire song list for a song. It's because it doesn't have a screen. I know, but that's just my opinion.

Before I write about this item, I have to tell you something about me. I'm 6'5" and I love and am amazed at tiny things. Knowing that , and the fact that I also am stunned by tiny music players.
This is the neatest thing I've ever seen. I mean it's the size of a pack of gum and it holds my ENTIRE MUSIC COLLECTION. It's so tiny that I have to remember to put it back in the same place or I'm afraid Ill loose it.
Then the really amazing thing is, when I turn it on, I feel like I"m sitting in my own private recording session. This thing truly is amazing. I LOVE IT!

I love my iPOD, I have no idea why I never bought one before. It is easy to use and so light/small I fear I am going to lose it. This has been one of the best buys I have made on e-bay.

So far been having issues with it. Went to Apple store twice to try and fix it. Apple store advised me that moisture from my workouts could be shorting out the shuffle. I told them that defeats the purpose for why I purchased the shuffle.

This is a great product! But it can be expensive! I'm glad I found www.freeiphoneforme.co.uk where I got mine for free :)
