Apple iPod shuffle 3rd Generation Black (4 GB) MP3 Player

The iPod shuffle comes in 2 versions. A 2GB or a 4GB. Each allows adequate space for someone who wants a good amount of songs that they can get to quickly. By holding down the remote, you can switch from playlist to playlist, song to song, album to album, etc. As there is no physical screen, the ipod shuffle has VoiceOver, a feather that tells you which song is playing and who it is by. The VoiceOver is helpful when switching to particular playlists. For $59 or $79 respectively, the ipod shuffle is sure to be a great starter iPod or a great additional ipod to take to the gym or for a commute. Plus, it has a built in clip so you dont even need a case. It comes with the usb cord to sync with your computers and headphones with a built in remote.

The iPod shuffle is a great little item, however the headphones (Apple proprietary ones) are the only way to control the volume, choose the songs, pause, etc. Unfortunately the headphone controls are VERY fragile and susceptible to moisture. So if you are wearing them during a workout and sweat, the controls can become non-functioning. My headphones worked for 2 workouts, then died. I went to an Apple store and they replaced the headphones. I have seen blogs recommending wrapping the controls in Saran Wrap to keep them dry and so far that has worked. The iPod itself is also susceptible to moisture, so wear it so that the headphone jack stays pointed away from the flow of sweat or better yet, wrap it in Saran wrap as well.

I love this iPod it makes my 4th iPod currently. it is emtremely easy to connect to the computer and fill with music. and for 4gb it is a lot more songs than you think. I would definatley reccomend this to anyone who wants an extremely portable light weight mp3 player for a reasonable price.

I have had an older version of the Shuffle and 3rd Gen of the Nano. Wanted to give my brother one for Christmas, but needed something that would not be technically challenging. How much easier can it be! Easily loaded 900 songs and cannot believe how small the unit is and has a clip to attach to clothing. Only one switch for alphabetic artist play or shuffle and best of all, a small finger control on the earphone wire for volume, next song, etc. Voice ID for song title and artist is great and easily controlled from the same finger control. He will love it!!! Highly recommended.

its not like tha other mp3 player. it has controls on earphone wire and only has on off shufffle swich button.
talkover is the main diffrence of the ipod shuffle. you can listen the name of playing song. you cam swich between play list via one button

#2 It's small and very light weight. A bigger ipod may be a little too big to carry around the gym and may get in my way.

This is a handy iPod. Great for motorcycling! The clip helps it stay on well. As always all Apple products I have tried perform well. Nothing beats the sound of the iPod.

First of all this iPod is way better than it looks in pictures, it is smaller, sleeker, and just overall more cool than in pictures. There are no buttons on the ipod so you have to buy specific earbuds but its woth it. The buttons on the earphones are a little complicated at first but you get used to it. So overall it a great ipod and worth buying!

I like the size, and the fact that it can hold 1000 songs. It is an impressive MP3 player. I use it to listen to songs while I exercise on my bicycle.

Easy to use, you just gotta play around with it to learn the controls. Smaller than I originally thought. Beautiful.

Like the small size. Very easy to carry in a pocket for when you need it. Good if all you want to do is listen to music. Would obviously need something different of you were wanting to download movies are other media, but perfect for use at work

Like some of the other reviewers, I got a 4gb shuffle for less than $50, saving me approximately $35. Everything about the new shuffle is smaller, which makes it great for sporting events and training. I also don't care for the controls on the ear piece, but can live with it for the deal I got. Holds a lot of songs, and replay quality is very good.

I only Purchased This because I'm a runner so i can listen to my fav music while running. I'ts very lightweight and looks very cool. The Shuffle it's much more better for making exercise than any other ipod out there. I really like this Ipod

i like everything he was vary understanding... i got just what i asked for i would recommand him vary highly.. he will not trick you or be dishonest he is a vary good person when you purchase from him you dont have to worry at all...

I really love the size, with 4 gigs of space I can put plenty of music on it, the one disadvantage is that there are no buttons, you need to use the included headphones with the remote, unless you buy an adapter.

Have not had any problems, very easy to sync and use. did not like standard ear buds, hard to stay in!
bought the in-ear buds, a world of difference! the bass is now great. this is the only player I have owned,
so I don't know what to compare it to.
