Apple iPod nano chromatic RED™ Special Edition (8 GB) MP3 Player

The IPOD that I bidded on was a valentines gift, so I knew I would get it in time for valentines day. Well I won it, and paid the $100 - but then receievd an email 3 days after winning it saying " It's fake, and I'm not going to send it". Well you should probably know what you're putting up on ebay before you go and waste peoples time and energy. So now I have to hurry up and find another IPOD.

This was the worst experience I have ever had thru Ebay. I never recieved this item and the seller swore he sent it. After I had payed for my item with paypal Ebay sent me a caution notice telling me not to buy from the seller and that they were removing the listing. I am not sure how this happen but I got A TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE ITEM THAT READS AS DELIVERED BUT YET NO IPOD. I am very upset about this transaction and have really mixed feelings about Ebay when I have been a member for 5 years. Better Luck to all.

For what ever reason a red flag was raised because of seller. I was sent a caution letter from both ebay and pay pal with concerns about the seller. Transaction was denied.

The 4th generation Nano, Available in capacities of 8GB, and 16GB (priced at $149 & $199 respectively) these have a scratch-resistant aluminum body and are now slimmer than ever. The unit has new rounded, contour edges that make it feel thinner than it is and feel right in your hand. The new line-up comes in a whole array of colors to match the rainbow, and to match your personality as well.

The 4th Generation Nano has completely redesigned the Nano over the 3rd generation “Fat”, and it feels like it is different on the sides when you hold it comparatively to the older generations. Stepping back to the 1st and 2nd generation designs, it takes the good of the style of the 2nd gen, along with the advancements in the “Fat” 3rd generation versions, and creates a winning design. This design is a lot thinner than it was, yet retains the 2-inch screen, though it is millimeters thinner. The new screen saves the room for viewing your tracks and playing games, but the genius comes in the flipping of the screen.

The screen with this change, still has a 2-inch viewing area, which makes it very easy to use, browse and watch. When view movies, shows, podcasts with the new Nano, the Nano should be flipped to a “widescreen” view, in which the new accelerometer changes the landscape and viewing of this device. This new Nano still has a long battery life. Apple claims that it will last 36 hours, but I was able to get just over 32 hours of playtime – which is nice… real nice. The video experience was just over 6 hours – as advertised.

Another thing about the accelerometer. The accelerometer also enables 'shake to shuffle', where a flick of the wrist will choose a random song. This feels like it has been done right. It also allows easy use of the coverflow system, which runs much smoother this time around.

The new music search functions (Genius), the brighter screen,, sound quality, smoother ease and use of coverflow, and continued games support give the new iPod added flare. The addition of voice notes won't make a difference to most people, as you'll need to buy some extra headphones with a microphone built in – but it is nice to know that it is there if you do.

The addition of Genius, an automatic playlist generator, is going to be a massive hit with iPod fans. Genius will be massive, because it will - if it works as advertised - unlock the potential of your iPod library and help keep parties jumping or evenings chilled. It will also allow Apple to recommend tracks to you by your listening tastes as well.

As a fan small MP3 players, and of the past Nano line-ups, I love this design. I really do. I think the all aluminum casing is the way to go, and I am happy again that it is all around the unit. Should you replace your old 8GB Nano (3rd Generation) with the new one? If you really want accelerometer video abilities and Genius, I would say yes. Regardless if you upgrade, or decided to wait it out, I highly recommended this device to Apple lovers and new MP3 enthusiasts alike.

What a joke I am still fighting back and forth with them .. and they are on the side of the seller?? What more proof do they want, as far as I can see there have been many of us here that got taken. What more do they want. All I know is that I will not be paying for something that I did not receive. I don't think I am using Ebay anymore .. not after all this!!

I was a little skeptical at first when I bought it because I didn't know if it would be a broken or replica ipod, however IT WAS A GENUINE IPOD NANO AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PURCHASE!!! It was brand new in the original case and the seller had it shipped to me very quick.

I am very pleased with the ipod and hope this helps anyone who is on the fence like I was on to buy from this seller but I assure you that he is truly a High Quality ipod seller.

Not only did I find it on Ebay, it was priced reasonably and they pur my grandson's name on it, for free. Shipping was fast, freight was reasonable and I saved the sales tax. I only buy from paypal sellers with a high rating. This was a super seller and I received exactly what I bought. I have met some good people with Ebay, it's like shopping with family.

The item never Turned Up. I cannot judge if the item is ever going to turn up at my door. The Reason Why i bought the item was because of my friends birthday. But, Now i feel very bad because i didn't get my friend anything for his birthday but he gave me something for my birthday. Who ever reads this, NEVER buy from people from Nigeria, Spain, Thailand ect.., Because they are all SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!

I like the size of it and how it is made. I bought it for christmas gift. I also love the colors they come in especially the blue and pink.

This ebayer is a scam! Do not do business with them. I had to file complant with my Bank to get money back. Never received the product even thou it was paid for in less than 24 hr.

This product is ok. Its not like the really ipod.. but its close. I dont like the delay this item has. But it works in the mean time.

This item was listed as a 8GB iPod nano MP3 player. In actuality it appears to be a knock-off of the real Apple iPod. It doesn't synch to iTunes, so how could it be a real apple product? Apple iPods only synch to iTunes. the appearance is also different. The item arrived labeled 4 GB but I had purchased 8GB. Seller said the computert will recognize 8GB, but I can't get a computer to recognize the device at all. It was also described as an MP4 player in the description. Yes, I didn't read far enough down into the description, as I was bidding on several red iPods. But this should never have been sold as an Apple iPod, as it isn't even close. I will take it to an Apple store to see WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT'S AUTHENTICITY. Obviously I'm out $115, as the seller is adament it's a real iPod. This was a gift for my son, as I already have an authentic iPod nano, so the comparison was easy to make and spot the differences. I was too hasty in buying a knock-off that other people need to be made aware of. It'll be an expensive paperweight.

The item was a Chinese counterfeit; it was not an Apple iPod. It shipped directly from China and met the ebay criteria for a counterfeit product...incompatible with iTunes, slightly different size, different fonts, different operating system, overall lesser quality, different menu structure and user messages.
