Apple iPod nano chromatic Purple (8 GB) MP3 Player

DO NOT PURCHASE AN IPOD FROM THIS SELLER!!!

I bought an 8GB iPod nano that was described as "brand new in an open box" (???) and "NOT refurbished and NOT used" However, the only true statements were that the iPod was "in an open box" (because it was used) and "NOT refurbished" (because it was still broken).

Contrary to the seller's claims, I received a USED, NON-FUNCTIONING iPod that still had someone else's name and games in it. Clearly, this item was NEITHER "tested" NOR in "100% working order." On top of all that, the year warranty was already several months old!

Furthermore, when I contacted the seller about the iPod not working, I received a form letter that suggested I take it to the nearest Apple store (conveniently located about 150 miles away) and exchange it for a new one. The seller apparently did not want to deal with their "mistake."

When I contacted the seller for the second time, to alert them that the Apple store had told me that the item was used and already several months into the warranty, I was told that the best they could do was refund the purchase amount if I paid to ship it back to them. However, this would still mean that I wasted both MY TIME and MY MONEY dealing with THEIR PROBLEMS.

Therefore, unless you are willing deal with all of the aforementioned headaches,

DO NOT PURCHASE AN IPOD FROM THIS SELLER!!!
