DO NOT PURCHASE AN IPOD FROM THIS SELLER!!!
I bought an 8GB iPod nano that was described as "brand new in an open box" (???) and "NOT refurbished and NOT used" However, the only true statements were that the iPod was "in an open box" (because it was used) and "NOT refurbished" (because it was still broken).
Contrary to the seller's claims, I received a USED, NON-FUNCTIONING iPod that still had someone else's name and games in it. Clearly, this item was NEITHER "tested" NOR in "100% working order." On top of all that, the year warranty was already several months old!
Furthermore, when I contacted the seller about the iPod not working, I received a form letter that suggested I take it to the nearest Apple store (conveniently located about 150 miles away) and exchange it for a new one. The seller apparently did not want to deal with their "mistake."
When I contacted the seller for the second time, to alert them that the Apple store had told me that the item was used and already several months into the warranty, I was told that the best they could do was refund the purchase amount if I paid to ship it back to them. However, this would still mean that I wasted both MY TIME and MY MONEY dealing with THEIR PROBLEMS.
Therefore, unless you are willing deal with all of the aforementioned headaches,
DO NOT PURCHASE AN IPOD FROM THIS SELLER!!!

It's a different animal from the iPod Touch, but very nice nonetheless. I find the interface very snappy and easy to use once you get used to how it works. Audio quality was excellent as long as you worked with decent quality mp3 or aac files (192 or 160 and up respectively). Only tried a few older videos, but they worked well too. I was surprised how small the unit was, but it still felt very solid and well engineered. No idea as to battery life, but if near the listed amount, it should be fine.

I love the size of the Nano! It is so compact it fits in my pocket. It is amazing how such a little device is loaded with a lot of features. The sound quality is amazing!!! I plug it into my car stereo system to play my favorites on the road. I owned a larger Ipod classic but it was larger and heavier with less features than this little one. You can't go wrong with this Nano!!!

PerfectI bought this for my daughter for her 9th birthday. It holds more songs than she will ever need at any given time, plus she can download and play games. Very convenient when traveling. No longer have to take multiple items along. The price was perfect. She takes the ipod everywhere.

How Wonderful It Is . It is what I wantedJust wonderful apple ipod.. Like the way the ipod works .. have several that I use for work but this a little I can carrying in my purse..

Cool shuffle function when you shake the Ipod. Takes a little while to figure out the right shake... up and down like shaking a soda pop works best... it kinda gets weird when you're connected to cables and the cables are tight. I prefer my 3rd generation nano, the square one, to this rectangular one. The shape of the 4th Gen just feels weird and doesn't fit right in my cupholder connected to my car stereo like my 3rd Gen does. I bought this for a friend because she likes purple and these are the only ones that come in Purple. I would be thrilled if Ipod has a 16g version of the 3rd Gen, I would buy one.
