The Bad:
* Very limited accessories at this time

* Did crash on me once
* Album image only available if you purchased the song from iTunes. Uploading your CD doesn't work.
* Will likely be out of date in a few months as Apple quickly revs on the iPod product

My teenage daughter wanted an early version of the IPod. She earned the money, found it at Ebay and wanted to purchase it from a Buy-It-Now seller. I encouraged her to choose a seller who had a good rating who would allow her to use the bidding process (so she could get some experience at bidding). She found a listing, I reviewed it with her, then she bid, won, and paid via PayPal. (The seller then took 30 days to ship and we even had to file a PayPal claim against him to get him to ship). The Ipod we purchased is extremely scratched and did not come with earphones or most importantly the charging unit or computer connection cable. After we purchased these necessities at WalMart, the combined price of our Ebay purchase and the cables almost reached the price of a brand new IPod available at WalMart. Needless to say, unlike our previous purchases on Ebay, this was a negative experience, but the IPod works and my daughter is now enjoying it. We will be more selective about who we purchase from on Ebay in the future, looking for high volume sellers with high ratings.

Buying a used ipod is risky, this ipod was described correctly, it was heavily scratched and powered up, I had to recover it with itunes software, I did get lucky it has a great battery. I had to order a new headphone jack for it to have it work 100%, other than the $12 fix this ipod works like a brand new one but for a fraction of the cost. Just keep in mind buying a used ipod like this you may be disappointed at first but with a few repairs it will proove to be a great deal.

well i wanted an ipod that worked. in his description, it stated that it worked perfectly, well it didn't. the warranty sticker was a small white sticker that had no letters on it, so i removed it not knowing what it was. well i think that it is terrible that he sells defective items knowingly.

We have a small battery powered speaker system that we use golfing. Our old iPod was taken off the golf cart, we needed to replace it. No longer available in store (new ones dont fit) we went to ebay. great price perfect condition and we up and running again!

i needed one to work out with and for work. i like it because its small and easy to transport. i work in a assembly plant and it allows me more freedom to move. i have been wanting one for a long time just didnt want to pay alot for it. this item was like new and i am very pleased with it. it also holds alot more music then using a cd player. you dont have to change your cd every so often. i enjoy ebay more then you could imagine.

The iPod nano First Gen. White MP3 Player was much more dented scratched than I assumed by the description. We got new earbuds and can only hear out of one side. We tried them in another iPod and all worked fine with both ears on that one. I'd like to get a refund but unfortunately I have been away where there I had no computer access. If the seller reads this and would like to accept it in return, we'd behappy to do so for a refund. Thank you.
