Apple iPod classic Sixth Gen. Silver (80 GB, MB029LL/A) Digital Media Player

I recieved the Ipod about a week after I paid for it, it had several scratches all over the unit and a chip in the one corner (that was advertised) however the picture did NOT show how beat up the Ipod unit was. Additionaly there was preloaded ghetto music on the Ipod.

So fun problem so i think its same things as buying it from apple but pay less price..it is great item.

I love ipods. but I have to give this a negitive review because the item never came. never buy from user "eharak555" you will never receive your items.

i love how much memory you have available to put music on this ipod. i can put all my favorite movies on here and still have plenty of room for all my favorite songs and my friends favorite songs

I HAD AN IPOD BEFORE BUT IT WAS JUST A 30 GB, AND THIS ONE IS AN 80 GB, I DONT KNOW IF I WILL FILL IT LIKE I DID MY 30 GB. I PROBABLY WILL FILL IT AS I HAVE 4 GRANDCHILDREN THAT LOVE THE IPOD JUST AS MUCH AS I DO.

The unit was not as I expected it to be. Seller did not mention that there were lots of scratches to the product, although it was mentioned heavy usage.
initially had problem, but since there was no return policy, i just reformatted the ipod again.

The seller extremely prompt with responses and providing alternative shipping solutions. The item was exactly as advertised. Was sent and arrived promptly. I would recommend and do business with this seller again.

i bought this used ipod classic 80gb for $170 from cguthrie92, everything seems fine when the ipod arrives, cosmetic feature is not that ok but doesnt matter anyway as long as it functions flawlessly.

anyways, my wife tries to copy few of her songs to the ipod, turned out ok (using itunes). a few days passes by and a friend brought his ipod with 3000 songs and tries to copy most of it to her ipod, he first tried 2000+ but the ipod froze and got corrupted, so we have to restore it to its original state using itunes. it keeps on getting corrupted even when we try to transfer 300 songs. so we tried doing it 50 at a time, this method works, but gets corrupted again after we transfered more than 300 songs.

so i went to a an apple store and the guy told me there that the warranty on this ipod has expired, so he gave me a number of another company that repairs apple made products that specializes in ipods. the owner of that company that also repairs ipod told me that the hard drive is defective and needs to be replaced.

now i have to pay almost the same price i paid for this ipod $50 for service and another $86 for a new hard drive.

i didnt bother to contact the seller, since the first time i got the ipod and told her that the cosmetic condition if off from what she described, and she was like lets say "not very friendly", and i already gave her a positive feedback, bec. i only discovered the defective drive after a few days of use. also if you are wondering if i dropped the ipod after i received it, NO i never did, didnt even left the house until i have to bring it to an apple store and took it to a repair shop.

moral lesson i learned, never always trust used electronic products, you will never discover their defects until its too late, better buy it from someone you know personally or at a store with warranty, or better yet, when buying online, but your electronic stuff BRAND NEW.

IPOD was in good condition and delivery was as promised. Was able to upload data to IPOD without a problem.

Well, I don't really like apple's products, and this one isn't any different. As long as you play by apple's rules it's easy and friendly but the second you try and do something apple doesn't want you to it's almost impossible. Any costumization or feature that apple doesn't want is almost impossible to get.

I personally would pick another MP3 player with more features, more open design, and less restricting, but if you're not tech savey and just want something that plays music, this is it.

Great Ipod.Sealed in box.You can't go wrong. I saved $50 minimum,than if I bought a comparable one from the store.I am very happy with this deal.
