Apple iPod classic 6th Generation Silver (160 GB) MP3 Player

First, Hays was a tremendous rebound from my one other attempt to get an iPod 160GB. Second, they are no longer being sold at regular retail stores. I felt very fortunate to find someone selling them at a reasonable price.

The owner was very customer orientated. He sent very timely e-mails via eBay. The packaging was great. The iPod came in very quickly, which I am sure everyone will appreciate. Still if it had not been delivered that swiftly, I still would have been pleased. I am the type of customer who will pay a little more for quality service.

The iPod itself was as described... new and perfectly shrink wrapped. It worked flawlessly and I could not be happier!

I like the capacity of 160 Gb for a decent price. It can barely fit all my music (36000 songs at 192kbp, and I hate the microsoft Zune problems. So far I have had two Ipods, one 80gb, and this one 160gb, and both of them work flawlessly. The battery last a long time for music, but it can drain quickly after a two hour movie. Never let it drain completely. I highly recommend the apple ipod, but not its computers, which are overpriced, underpowered, and they don't have as much storage as other laptops that cost much less money.

It holds a lot of songs, but also is doggedly slow, because of that. Synching with iTunes takes for ever and loading it with songs takes even longer.

It also locks up frequently when you plug it into the computer.

However if you want an iPod and have over 160gb of songs then you have no choice but to gets this.

wanted to get my own before they all disappeared & I am so glad I did! This little Big iPod is just right for lot's and lot's of Music, a few videos & some Audio Books, especially if you're not really in the market for the latest gadgets & just want to have a simple to use, good looking MP3 player that will easily connect to your Mac or PC, plug in some good headphones or dock it to your Table Radio, all very easy & good looking to boot. Still a great value and not a bad way to back up your music as well.

I love the amount of storage it has, however it is very bulky. It seems to be built to be very tough.

I decided not to get the fancier iPod Touch, since I wanted an iPod with a large storage capacity to store alot of my videos. Having pretty much filled up my 80gig, I wanted to get the next largest iPod. A few months ago, I was surprised to find out that Apple had discontinued the 160gig in favor of a smaller 120gig. I'm still not sure why they did this, but I still wanted the 160, so I purchased a new one on eBay for much less than they were retailing for when they were available. I love the extra capacity even though about 10gigs is already used by applications on it. The new interface is graphically fancier than what I had on my 80gig, which is welcome, but may be taking up more memory than the previous interface. I don't really care much for the games that are on it, and probably won't get anymore, since I don't really plan on playing games with it. I hope I can delete them and free up some memory.

The only problem I seem to have with it is that some songs won't play entirely. They play for a few seconds, then it skips to the next song. I didn't have this problem with those same songs on my 80gig, so I'm not sure what about this new iPod won't allow those songs to play well. At first, I thought it was because the songs are downloads and not imported from cd's, but I know of one song, so far, that was imported from a cd. Aside from this issue, it's a great player and allows me to store a large amount of videos, which is what I really wanted it for.

I love this ipod it works great no problems what so ever. I have used it for about 5 hours straight and the battery still didn't really need to be charged. I don't have any vids on it yet. I would also so buy it from the between_the_lines_sports they were great.

I love this iPod, I have a couple of them. Most of the others are smaller. I have the original 160GB iPod. I have kept it for several year. This one is so much better. I love the coverflow and big screen. I actually gave my iTouch to my son because I like this one better.
I hate that this iPod is no longer available. I like to know I have room for more...

First of all: this iPOD is one of the rarest! it was never released for the public, and only few won it via radio competitions. The best thing about it is the Red Hot Chli Peppers signatures in the back of the iPOD, and for a RHCP fan like me, it's a true collectors item.
Although this iPOD is considered an old generation - it does the job perfectly! No complaints at all! I have already downloaded all my songs, videos and pictures to it. Most recommended to all of you, so wait like me for the next RHCP limited edition iPOD on eBay.

Bought the 160gb because Apple is not making a large capacity ipod anymore and they are hard to find. I use my ipod to store a variety of movies, music, & information so that it will be available as I travel. Battery power is extremely wonderful - hardly charge it even after listening to hours of audio books. Great product for a good price and fast service through ebay. Sorry that Apple downsized their product for all of their loyal customers.

The Apple 160GB Ipod has all the memory I need for all my music, videos, and pictures. The screen is in perfect shape with no scratches. This is the perfect Ipod if you use a lot of memory.

I decided to buy it because I needed a new one. I love this one because it is 160GB (not that I need that much) but it also holds videos and photos and does alot of other functions. I like how the album covers and/or photos are displayed in a background on the ipod. Also, I like how I can do other things on the ipod while my music still plays. I love this product and I am happy I bought it brand new!!
