Excellent value, though you might want to go with a vid

It's probably not a good idea to buy this iPod when there are video ipods to buy--the price premium is worth it in my opinion. I got an excellent deal on this iPod, but otherwise, I probably would've gotten a video--I would only lose 10GB and I would gain the ability to use the RockBox firmware with RockBoy support so that I could play gameboy games on my iPod. That said, the RockBox firmware and iPodLinux firmware both work on a whole variety of ipods, from the 4G one I have up to the video ones, but not including the new ipod classics and new ipod nanos.
