Apple iPod classic 4th Generation from HP (40 GB) MP3 Player

This was my charmed daily user, what a beautiful machine! Kept a charge for what seemed like days! Awesome! Love it love it!

I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BEST THING, BUT FOR MY MONEY, CREATIVE LABS HAVE REMOVABLE BATTERIES, STILL TO THIS DAY NO SINGLE IPOD MADE HAS THAT, MEANING DIS-ASSEMBLY AND EXPENSIVE BATTERY EXCHANGE. IPODS, EVEN WHEN BROKEN ARE WAY OVER PRICED AND OVER HYPED..ALL IN ALL THEY ARE FAIRLY DEPENDABLE..IF YOU LIKE TO USE ITUNES, WITH CREATIVE YOU DO NOT NEED BIG BROTHER ITUNES TO DOWNLOAD FROM AND WITH..PUT IT ALL TOGETHER, I'D BUY A CREATIVE LABS FOR I/2 THE IPOD PRICES..ONLY THING BETTER ABOUT IPOD IS THE AMOUNT OF CASES AND ACCESSORIES OUT ON THE MARKET..HOPE THIS HELPED YOU THINK A LITTLE BEFORE SETTLING ON THE OVERHYPED IPOD BRAND PLAYERS....

It's been about 7 weeks and this person hasn't yet sent me this item. At first she said she was waiting on my payment, but she received that within a week. I feel I may have been robbed!

I recieved an empty box from a person in china that had fraudulently used another ebay members profile. To make matters worse they sent me an empty box for a 2gb ipod rather than the 40gb I had order. Paypal didn't want to refund my money but thankfully they eventually did but I still don't have an ipod.

i bought it for my husband. and it works well and he enjoys every one bit of it. at first it acted up but now it is works ok

Don't buy ipods on ebay! I bought 2 ipods from a reseller with 99% positve feedback. BOTH ipods didn't work and the reseller wouldn't refund my money. Ebay was no help in getting the refund. Don't buy on ebay.

The seller sold me a working iPod that lasted about a week (just outside of the return deadline). Now I have to reformat and doubt it'll work again. Thanks for yankin' mah $100, guy.

i liked it at first but when i got it, it didnt work so dont buy items from this person uless u want a bad product

They have great priced for their refurbished 40 gig ipods. Only $90! I had a problem with my first ipod and sent it back and they had it fixed immediately and it works great. Their customer service was excellent and friendly. I will shop here again!

The unit dose not work on one of the esr peices. I have asked for return but they have not answered me,

the seller was not quite accurate in his description of the condition of the IPOD. Was very used, not slightly used. The charging / data ports have a connection problem. The seller got very confused with my request to ship via UPS instead he shipped USPS. Did not follow my request at all. Very frustrating experience. I don't think the sellers are being absolutely truthful with the actual condition of the item. They are out to get the BIG BUCKS.

great sound, great battery life, and 40 gigs holds thousand of songs. its perfect for in the car, on a run, bike riding, or taking over to a friends house.

I like that it is very small and light and i take it around with me everywhere, it seems a little more solid than my friends regular apple ipod, like stronger case maybe. It takes me through commuting and even riding around town in my car. A very good ipod, it rules!

I liked the price great deal but it doesn't hold a charge very long which is to be expected. It came very quickly after purchase and the seller was easy to deal with.

i needed a larger memory at a reasonable price and think that we accomplished that.

Overall I am happy.

It wii not hold a charge after 24hrs of charging ? I t appeards to be charging when plugged in but does not when unplugged?

I paid this item and have not recieve it, it has been a 1 week and 2 days and still nothing, no email no call back nothing. I notify ebay and they too given me the run around

Arrived DOA,Seller guaranteed no DOA !Tried to resolve with seller and he refuse refund! Dispute filed ! Lets see how much Ebay and Pay Pal stand behind the buyer! This will determine if I use Ebay or Pay Pal in future ! Seller feedback is 15 and mine is 136 100% possitive ,I would't have bidded without the no Doa guarantee ,it is only good if the seller stands behind his guarantee!

I bought this broken Ipod because of it's general appearance in the add, also I am very familiar with this model of Ipod and I knew what it had wrong with it from past experiences. Also the price that I bought the Ipod at was very reasonable.
I got the item in record time and it was packed in such a manner that there was no way shipping could have hurt it any..If this individual had any more to sell I would gladly purchase them from the individual.. I would much rather buy anything broken that I know I can fix from an individual instead of a company because you know the item was usually their own that they bought new and they are usually not mistreated and more than likely suffered only light damage, making repair for me a lot easier..

I am very happy with this Ipod and got it at a very fair price. It was clean and well taken care of and works great. I have a Shuffle and the difference between 1GB and 40GB is amazing when it comes to loading songs. I have loaded all 5 of the playlists I used for my Shuffle and can load many more. I cannot imagine ever playing all this music at one time.

The only complaint I have is that the 4th generation is slightly thicker and heavier than the newer models but not much. As for a color screen vs the black and white I would rather save the money and use the black and white. I do need color LCD and a album cover for every selection the name of the band and track is enough. I wanted this Ipod for music only so video is not important to me. Besides the small screen is a joke for anyone over 40.

My kids say they like the color screen and the size of theirs better but I do not carry this everywhere I go so size does not make that much difference. I still use my shuffle for the beach or where less than 12 hours of music is used but when I travel I now take my Classic with a set of monitor speakers for the hotel and headphones for when I tune everything out.

After having and using a Shuffle for a while this Ipod Classic 40GB is a huge step forward and I am happy with it and glad that I won the auction. It is a keeper and so is my little Shuffle.

did not work, replaced the battery and it still doesn't work. Plan on taking it by an apple store for service some time in the future.

This item showed up in the ebay list with low price and it was desribed in part-functional so I decided to buy it and hoped to fix its problem myself, after all its price was so low if I could not fix it I got nothing to much to lose.
