    I purchased the Apple iPod U2 Special Edition a little over a year ago. What a terrific product!

    This iPod was purchased for our son who is in graduate school. He uses it on a daily basis - walking to school and work, at home, on planes and trains....for hours and hours!

    Having used this iPod as well, it has excellent sound quality and is easy to use (very user friendly).

    The only drawback we have noticed is that the ear pods included with the original purchase wearout about every six months - again, this is with a significant amount of use! Apple has always been very responsive, overnighting replacement ear pods fast - and at no charge.

    The iPod case is a very classy black color with a red tuner wheel - the back is a polished silver with U2's engraved autographs.

    For at home listening, we purchased Altec Lansing computer speakers - superb concert hall listening quality!

    Before you look at other iPod styles, consider the Apple iPod U2 Special Edition - a great investment!

    I've had one of these for a little over a year. and it has worked great. The menu is very user friendly and quick to learn. It has many futures that allow you to sort your music and make your own playlist. Very durable I've dropped it and bang it so many time and it still works like it did the first time. You can also use it as a prtable hard drive to transport more then just your music. the battery life is more then you'll need for those long trips or when you want to listen to all your favorite music.
