Apple iPod 5th Generation Black (60 GB) MP3 Player

This was a negative experience.

The seller described the ipod as having facial scratches, but fully operational.

I received the ipod in an envelope wrappped in tissue. On the day that I received the unit, I downloaded music to the device. However, the ipod only produces sound for 1 speaker (left side)and the output out of the single speaker is not constant.

I tested the unit on several pair of ear phones and automobiles and it did not work properly (sound output for both speakers or a continuous level of output quality out of the single working speaker)with any unit.

I tested other ipods (shuffler, 2gb & 8gb) and all other devices worked fine with the earphones, speakers and automobiles tested. This was to verify that there was not an issue with the equipment being used with the 60gb ipod.

I immediately contacted the seller via messaging for a refund on the basis that this was a misrepresented item; however, the seller refused then cut off communication.

I filed a complaint with paypal. They launched an investigation then refunded my money on the basis that the seller did not respond to them either.

The broken item is still in my possession. No instruction has been provided to me on what to do with that unit.
