I love this phone. My favorite features are email, full web browsing, intuitive text messaging, and the great apps. I have used a palm and blackberry device in the past and there is no comparison when it comes to the user interface.
I bought a 1st generation phone because I am on T-mobile which can only use the edge network on the iPhone, not 3G. T-mobile is a great company and the only thing I am missing is visual voicemail.
The construction is very solid. Metal case and glass screen. It is very easy to clean and durable. I have dropped it many times and scratched the surface, but that did not cause any problems with the device.
The app store is great! There are lots of free apps and some very useful pay apps.
I believe that cell phones will be the preferred internet browsing device in the future. Apple has revolutionized the cell phone industry and I can't wait to see what they come out with next!
