For most users it is THE BEST overall phone up to date

There are plenty of smartphones to choose from. If you want a physical keyboard, the BlackBerry Curve or the Nokia N96 will do the job, but neither matches the slickness of the iPhone. With up to 32GB of storage, the iPhone 3GS
can be used as an iPod and has a growing selection of games via the App Store.
On the move, the iPhone will allow you to handle emails, contacts and calendars with ease. GPS makes it ideal for finding your way to meetings and, unlike a tablet or netbook, you can call if you’re running late.
Advantages: A smartphone is a computer in your pocket. You don’t need a bag to take it with you.
Disadvantages: The iPhone’s virtual keyboard doesn’t lend itself to writing long documents. And even smartphones with Qwerty keyboards will force you to make do with a very small screen. That’s the price of portability.
Alternatives: BlackBerry Curve 8520, Nokia N96, HTC Hero.
