The 3G is an upgraded 2g. I also own a 2G and the 3G is faster,brighter,and feels better in your hand. The 2G is awesome but the 3G is better. I use TMobile and have not had any problems at all. This 3G I received is running 2.2.1 on bandwith 3.0 and I have it unlocked and jailbroken. Hands down the best without a comparison!!
