Apollyon by Jerry B. Jenkins, Tim Lahaye (2000, Paperback, Reprint)

As always, this was a great book in a great series. Follows very closely to Revelations. The world is an increasing unrepentant and sinful. Rafe is compromised and flees for his life. Chloe’s pregnancy nears the end. Tsion holds a rally for believers in Jerusalem for the Jewish witnesses and is almost assassinated, but the Lord protects him. The Two Witnesses appear at the meeting and speak, then Nicolae places them on a shoot at will alert. Buck is regarded as a murder suspect and nearly looses his life. A trumpet judgment is released on unbelievers, horrible locus-like creatures who stings grow worse and worse and last for a five-month period. People suffer and suffer and beg to die, but even suicides are not allowed. This is biblical! Chaim and Hattie move close to salvation and will do great things in the coming books don’t miss them! Hattie delivers and delivers - well you read it. A trusted member of the Tribulation Force is killed and leaves behind a windfall and detailed plans for the Tribulation Force. I believe all will enjoy this book and I hope it leads people to Christ. As always, this was a great book in a great series. Follows very closely to Revelations.

I bought this for a friend and she says it was grrrrreat! It is just one of many in a series so be sure to start at the begining!!!!

This is the fifth book in the Left behind series. Some of the action, as usual, is not plausible. But we do have action in this book. And the authors still manage to make it a page-turner. So if you read the others...go ahead and read it.

Rayford learns the truth about his wife. We have both Chaim Rosenzweig and Hattie come to believe the truth about what is required to be saved, but neither takes that necessary step. Chaim because of pride and Hattie because of hate. I found it hard to believe that a man of Chaim's intellect would allow pride to over ride everything he himself has seen and deduced from hard evidence. And Hattie, well they did a good job with her. She is so annoying I kept hoping she would be written out of the story.

The meeting of the 144,000 takes place in Israel and the Anti-Christ attends, as does the prophets of God. The story line in Jerusalem is well written and you could not only visualize what was transpiring. And the authors did a great job of brining the two prophets to life. And their is very good narrative on the Trumpet Seals as they are unleashed on the earth.

The only thing I would highly recommend is that you make sure to read this book in its proper sequence. It cannot stand on its own.

I will not write what is going on in the books because I don't want to give anything away.....lol. But I have enjoyed every single book in the series and am surprised at how well the story line stay together from book to book. Seems like each book goes by just as quickly as the first if not faster.

In general, I really enjoy the Left Behind series. I'm no bible-beater but it really makes you think. Plus the action and adventure make this a page-turner. The great thing about this book and the series in general is that you already know the characters and what's going on, so it jumps right into high gear. For those who have not read earlier books in the series, characters and events are briefly explained along the way but I highly recommend starting from the beginning.

Very good book. As long as you remember that it is considered "fiction". The book does take scriptures out of the Bible so at least that much is true. Make sure you read the first four books before reading this one or you will be lost. This is a gripping story and hard to put down once you get reading. It really does go pretty fast also.

Everyone at work has been talking about this series forever, so I figured what the heck? I'm on the last book now and have loved every one.

THIS IS ONE BOOK OF A SERIES OF 8 THAT I PURCHASED AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF READING THEM. I WAS IMMEDIATELY IMPRESSED AND INTERESTED WITH BOOK 1 AND HAD TO CONTINUE READING ALL OF THE SERIES. I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE READING THIS SERIES AND THINKING DEEPLY ABOUT WHAT THEY SAY....THESE BOOKS ARE BASED ON "REVELATIONS" IN THE BIBLE, SO IT IS SOMETHING EVERYBODY MUST UNDERSTAND AND EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE SAVED BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE BOOKS IN THE SERIES. (THE BOOKS ARE A LOT BETTER THAN THE MOVIES). THANKS

I loved this book. The left behind series books are wonderful and informative. This one in particular really makes you think about what life will be like in the future for the non-believer. I want everyone to read this book.

I am trying to get the complete set of "Left Behind" series. Each book keeps you turning the pages just to see how the everyone moves in different directions. I would recommend this series to everyone.

I am just happy that I was able to find this book for such an excellent price, even if it wasn't brand new, but it is still in great condition.

I would love to offer you a review of this book - HOWEVER, the seller of this and two other items became a 'NOT A REGISTERED USER' very soon after listing/selling them - and I paid for them, but never received them. Buyer beware of this recent issue happening - sellers become 'unregistered' after you win/pay for/never receive the items...only to find you out of money and never getting resolution for refunds or helpful answers as to what to do next!

Tim Lahaye is such a great writer and the Left Behind series is a MUST READ!! The left behind series is a fictional narrative detailing what life on Earth would be like after Jesus returns and takes the Christians away and the onset of the anti-Christ and his reign in power up to the end with Armageddon.

The book was in good to very condition for a paperback. It also came relatively fast. It was packed quite well.

I really enjoyed this book. I have read all of them to this point and can hardly wait for the next one to arrive.

Book 5 in the Left Behind series. These books are some of the most compelling I have ever read. There is something that will appeal to almost everyone in these books. I would definately recommend them to anyone. Once I started I couldn't put any of this series down.A modern day fictional story based on the Book of Revelation, this is a must read.
