The Apex Digital AD-1110W DVD Player functions great. It has a lot of features for its price, and it's relatively durable.
One "bonus" for this DVD player is that it can play all kinds of DVDs. It has very high tolerance for scratched DVDs, and the "questionable" ones you sometimes get from Ebay.
One drawback for this machine is its appearance. It's clumsy looking, and the casing on the unit is made of cheap plastic. I also wish it would have a LED Display, but I might be asking for too much for the price it is being offered.
Overall I'm very happy with this machine.

I am a fan of Apex DVD players. I purchased this model after my former Apex DVD player no longer worked (not due to product malfunction but toddler placing "foreign" items inside). I have had this specific model for approximately three years now and have not experienced the first trouble with it.
The Ad-1110W model is easy to set up, easy to use and offers the same quality has high dollar DVD players. Player comes complete with remote that offers a multitude of features.
My family uses this DVD on average of at least once per week, so bear in mind I do not know how well it works if you are an avid DVD watcher....or, as I recall, replaying movies numerous times for toddlers!

I liked this DVD Player because it is small and light weight. It fits just about anywhere. It played my most scrached up DVDs and CDs. It is a good DVD player.

This DVD player plays any type of DVD format disc. AND I DO MEAN ANY TYPE OF DISC...WINK, WINK! All you bad boys know what I'm talking about. This unfortunately was the reason the APEX DVD player was pulled off the shelves at all retail stores. This particular DVD player was too compatible and this angered the DVD manufactures.

dvd player did not work but offerd to take it back and refund money but i did not feel like dealing all the hassel of going to post offfice and pay to send it back

) Apex is known for playing anything. From scratched, warped to homemade Dvd's. This unit however will not play DVD+R dvds. It is possible I am doind something wrong, but it plays DVD-R dvds fine. The remote has lots of functions. Seems well made, simple to hook up. If you have -R's this unit is for you.

Apex Digital AD-1110W DVD PlayerI bought this for my parents for a Christmas gift. All the kids have DVD movies and they don't have anything for them to watch the movies on and the kids also got them so movies that they was wanting but they can't watch them because they don't have a DVD Player. So I sovled that problem.
