Anywhere But Home [CD & DVD] by Evanescence (CD, Nov-2004, Wind-Up Records)

I avoid live albums unless I love the band. Some bands sound terrible when you can't see the performance and without editing. Evanescence is a talented band. With this purchase, there are great things to see and hear.

It was a great price for a great product, the chick that sings for Evanescence gives me a musical hard on whenever I hear her voice. My original review was just the first sentence, but they said I had to write more so its not my fault if you are offended.

Im really glad i decided to buy this. The DVD has 4 music videos- My Immortal, Bring Me to Life, Everybody's Fool and Going Under so you have that if you ever want to watch them again. It also has great concert footage and behind the scenes footage for those who havent been able to go to a concert. The CD has the live music from the concert plus a song, Missing, which you can only get from this CD. A overall good buy.

Awsome cd and the dvd. I saw this being sold on ebay and the price was awsome for a cd that cums with a dvd.

Amy & the band are SUPERB(as always), but the camera work and effects editing are annoying - at best!

i love how the tour with seether brought shaun morgan into the mix in the evanescence unleashed feature.

this is a great thing to do because in the stores it will generally cost more than you will spend on ebay in most cases, i saved alot of money and still bought it new plus chicks that sing rock music and look like amy lee then you just cant go wrong, overall all my purchases have went great and everyone i have interacted with have been very clear and understanding as well as quick with the shipping, unfortunatly my wife says im addicted to shopping on ebay now but i say thats a good thing and she hasnt complained about the stuff i have bought for her

Evanescence CD Rocks! A must have in collection. Truely great Lyrics by Amy. Plus she's Hot! CD sells itself. This is one of my personal favorites. They'll be around for a long time. Amy is one the best songwriters out there Female or male. Buy it.

Heard about this CD on a webpage and had not been able to find it locally--True to form it was well worth the purchase and let's you see the background of each members traits [bad part was showing the true to form Rock Star attitude where they messed a "green room" after a show]

If you like Amy Lee's voice on the studio versions of Evanescence music....you will absolutely love this CD. It gave me chills...a little.

I love this set because I think the concert version is a little more intense than the album itself. Yes, Amy's going to sound a little off here and there becasue she is singing above how many SCREAMING fans?! Singers aren't always perfect, but Amy really works hard, as well as the rest of the band, to put on a good a great performance and she and the band all deserve alot of thumbs up. This has got to be my most favorite album because there are songs on here that I never heard on the Fallen album. I Love her Korn cover song, "Thoughtless." I love the dvd also because I can actully watch their performance over and over again and watch her go to town on her singing. I would love to go to one of their concerts, but I don't when that will be. I love the outfit she wore for the concert.
I can't say if there is anything that I don't like about it. I love them so much and she really sings her heart out and her body language goes along well with what she sings. The performance on the dvd is great! I wish "Hello" was apart of her concert. I love that song. I bought the cd/dvd combo because I the one I got last year disappeared on me.

Remminds me of Dido and Enya.I bought it for two song-Wake Me Up Inside and My Immortal and now love all songs on album.

Good songs. I love the dvd part of it because it contains a whole concert, plus it has 4 different music videos on it. The dvd gives you the option of surround sound or regular. The cd has great songs on it and is possibly one of their best yet. A must-buy for any Evanescence fans!!

I think that Anywhere But Home is one of Evanescence's best CDs (and DVD)! I personally believe that they sound great live and cannot understand how people can say otherwise!

The CD includes some great songs, including:
- Thoughtless (Korn cover- I think they did a great job- me being a Korn fan also!)
- Missing (a studio version of a track that wasn't released on Fallen)
- Bring Me To Life (extended intro)
- Farther Away (a track that wasn't released on Fallen)
- Breathe No More (another track that wasn't on Fallen)

Besides the CD, you get an awesome DVD:
- whole concert
- the four music videos off of Fallen
- tons of behinds the scence footage

The DVD is something you don't get if you just download the CD from iTunes!

In every way, I think this is a great CD/DVD combo that is a must-have for any Evanescence fan!

Love Amy Lee - she's got an awesome voice. I can't wait until her next CD comes out. She has an amazing vocal ability, and I'm glad I got this CD.
