Album Notes Personnel: Da Brat (rap vocals); Krayziebones, Manuel Seal, T-Boz (vocals); Carl-So-Lowe (keyboards); LaMarquis Jefferson (bass); Trey Lorenz (background vocals). Recorded at KrossWire Studio, Atlanta, Georgia. Chi-Town's finest, Da Brat, is sittin' on top of the world. Her debut album, FUNKDAFIED, with the help of producer-writer Jermaine Dupri, was the first by a solo female rapper to go platinum, and has paved the way for other female MCs. Brat is known for her foul-mouthed lyrics and West Side-influenced flow, and it's those same characteristics that set the stage for ANUTHATANTRUM. As the title suggests, Da Brat is still throwing tantrums, shouting at critics and playa haters who keep denying the props due her. "Just A Little Bit More" points a finger at non-believers: "Used to laugh when I had a demo/But since the big stretch Lex limo/You ain't got no more jokes." Dupri's production is sample-heavy and full of funk, allowing Da Brat to catch wreck on the microphone over the same type of beats that worked for her the first time around.
