Anubis II (Wii, 2007)

This game makes puppies cry. Visually, looks worse than some PlayStation 1 games. Gameplay is worse than horrible. There was no Anubis I, which makes everyone wonder why did they make a sequel for a nonexistent game. Just stay away.

This was originally made for the PS2. Even for that the graphics were horrid. While graphics aren't the most important part of the game, its the game play that really makes a game great. This one fails to deliver on both.

If you turn around when you first start, you fall off the world. 1 life gone. There are no invisible walls. You just die. Next the wii mote was used so so horribly. They did not take any time to test it and it shows.

I tried to enjoy this game, I truely did as it sounded to be like Crash Bandicoot. But this game is total fail. Even after beating it, it just takes you back to the start. What little story they give you in the instruction manual is all you're going to get.

Since i bought this game, it's been opened once. Since then it just sits on the shelf. No one here enjoys playing it, the control of the character is horrible... and I would give the graphics a D... at best, and that's pushing it. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

We can't get past the first screen! My daughter found it so confusing she won't even attempt to play it.

I guess I should have read the other reviews before getting this...there's a reason its so cheap...I've played this once and that's enough for me...

The premise of the game is great. I usually love platformer style games and was really looking forward to playing this one. I was a HUGE fan of Sphynx and had hoped this would be a similar style game...not. The game isn't that terrible I supposed, it's the controls...absolutely the WORST! Need to jump on a platform? You have to jiggle the nunchuck controller up and down. Want to walk? Forget it! Stupid character runs like he's on fire the majority of the time. One control too sensitive and the other just stupid. I played it for approximately an hour and wanted to throw it in the trash within 15 minutes. Challaging? YES but not in a good way. Save your money for something else less frustrating.
