This was a very interesting book, it gave great detail about the crafters,makers,and history of the antiques it contained. I bought this book to help me have a greater knowledge of what to look for when I am shopping for antiques, whether to resell or pass down to my children as an heirloom. This primer did give a lot of information about what to look for as far as how the piece was made, what it was made of, who made it, ect. The only thing that I would like the book to have had was more value prices, however it did provide that information on some of the pieces. Overall I would give this book a good review and recomend it for the beginners like myself or the avid buyer/collector to learn a little more.

This book was great. Gave me a lot of information on old glass etc. It is just loaded with lots of information. And is also my favorite show to watch. I just love old and exciting things

This is an amazing book full of knowledge and interesting facts. I bought it because I love collector books - they help me learn what to look for in case I run upon something at an estate sale or yardsale that is worth more than their selling it for. This happens a lot, and now it happens more often. This book has shed a lot of light on what to look for and what to avoid. It is very thick and has more information than I can grasp in a year. The photos are wonderful and the descriptions are detailed. I believe it to be the bargain of the month for me.
