Antique Trader Jewelry Price Guide (2001, Paperback)

I was thrilled to find so many of the jewelry components I sell, used in true antique pieces with documented prices and a bit more information about each piece. Great source book for styles including fine and costume jewelry. Highly recommended book!

The best source for pricing Art Deco and Edwardian vintage jewelry. Edwardian gold brooches, pin, bracelets and more. Carved jade, ivory, coral. Museum work pieces also.

I liked it because it had lots of pictures so things were easy to identify but it lists them according to age which you don't always know (which is why you look it up) and it does not have a good index, it should index by designer name, stone, type of metal or something. It is a good book if you have time to look at every picture to find something similar to what you have. Like I stated earlier it does have lots and lots of pictures which are so much more useful with jewelry than just a discription.

It's nice to have reference books to look through. I work in an antomenique mall and books help me with questions the customers might have.

The book "Antique Trader Jewelry Price Guide" is an excellent source for those having exequisite quality jewelry. The jewelry prices are high for the
'average' buyer.

I cannot really recommend the book to those people who are looking for a book to 'appraise' costume-type jewelry for yard sales and flea markets. The average person is not going to have jewelry of the caliber of jewelry found in this book.

Again - it is an excellent source for those with high-priced jewelry.

I buy antique jewelery as well as vintage costume jewelry. This book needs more description and is lacking illustration. It should have much more illustration of the pieces described. This way we can identify much better.

The book was in great shape, but I feel when they shipped it, it should of been put in a plastic fitted bag.
