Perfect as Described and full of good information. A valuable book for the antique enthusiast. The pictures add to a great way to locate items you are trying to find.

Having just gotten interested in antiques, I was searching for a good book with pictures. This book is excellent. Not only does it give great descriptions, it has beautiful color photos so you know exactly what the item looks like. I highly recommend this book for beginners as well as seasoned antiquers.

This is a great book for identifying antiques and collectibles and for getting their approximate values. It lists the items alphabetically by maker, but also has sub categories for some of the more popular collector areas such as furniture, glassware, etc., making it easier to locate an item. It gives some interesting history on many of the popular manufacturers. It also shows makers marks to help identify some of your more difficult to identify items. Best of all, this book has nearly 6000 all-color photos!
